"Are we going to your room?" Jayden asks.
"Oh! She already got a guy!" Rev said. "Look, Mina!"
Mina turned around.
"So?" she replies.
"That quick?" Rev asks. "Impossible!"
"Shut up, Rev."
Angelica came downstairs.
"Oh good, Jayden, you're here!" She said. "Tell your damn creep of a friend to stay away from me.
"Who?" He asks.
"Donavan." I answered.
"Yes! That black haired guy! If we had babies, my blond hair and his black hair. No."
I laughed at what she said.
"Brett and his light brown hair." She said. "Our babies will be.. beautiful."
"Okay.." I said.
She pointed at us two. "You both have dark brown hair. That's perfect!"
"I have light brown tips.." I stated.
"Yes! Your ombré is on point!"
"Okay, we're just gonna go now.." I said.
We headed upstairs and Jayden said to Angelica, "Oh. And good luck trying to escape Donavan. He doesn't give up easily. If he sees someone he likes, ou, he would not leave you alone."
"Thanks for telling me, Jayden! Dammit, Donavan." She mumbled at the last part.
I chuckled and we went in my room.
He sat down on my bed and I closed the door.
I sat down on my vanity chair.
"So.. what do you want to learn first?" I asked him.
I took out a math, a science, an english, and a history book.
When I realized he wasn't answering, I looked up.
"Jayden?" I said. "Jay?"
"Huh?" He shook his head. "Yeah?"
"What do you want to learn first?" I asked him again.
"Uh.. I don't care." He replied. "Whatever you feel like teaching."
I can't believe he was staring.. AT ME. He was staring at me! What??? Bad boy staring at the nerd?
"Alright. History then." I said.
He just shrugged.
After 30 minutes of teaching him History stuff, he was actually getting it. I decided to teach him English next. 30 minutes of that. Science, 30 minutes. Then Math, his least favorite, my favorite, an hour of that.
"My brain has handle enough." He said.
I chuckled. "Yeah. Even though I'm not the one learning, my brain's hurting from teaching you all these stuff."
"Wanna go grab something to eat?" He asks.
"Uh.." I didn't know what to reply.
Angelica told me to play hard to get. Honestly, I can't do that. I'm going to stop. I'm just gonna do my own thing.
"Sure." I replied simply.
"Really?"
I nodded. "Yeap."
"Wow, I thought you were going to be hard on that."
"Oh, what's that suppose to mean, Mr. Willings?" I crossed my arms.
"Nothing, Miss Walls."
"I don't think that's my real last name."
"What?"
"Nothing." I said. "It's complicated."
"Okay, beautiful."
Wait.. Did he just called me.. beautiful?
He rubbed the back of his neck and bit his bottom lip. He was sexy like that. Mmm.. What am I saying?
"Sorry.." He apologized.
"For what?" I asked.
"Uh.. Let's go."
"Yeah. I'm getting hungry."
We went downstairs and I saw Brett and Angelica dancing.
"Hey, you two." I said.
"Ouch!" Brett yelped.
"Oh! I'm so sorry, Brett!" Angelica said. "I'm sorry."
"It's fine."
"No, it's not. That's like the third time!"
Brett turned to the side and finally noticed me.
"Oh, hey, Mallory." He said. "Willings."
"Updaring." Jayden said.
Brett last name was Updaring. I honestly don't know if Angelica's going to take that last name since she and Brett's foster siblings. Her last name's Rave by the way.
"Are you just about to leave?" Brett asked Jayden.
"No." He replied. "Mallory and I was jus about to go get dinner."
"Oh!" Brett said. "Angelica and I are pretty hungry too. Do you mind we go with you guys?"
I shook my head. "Not at all!"
We all got in Jayden's car.
"So.. where we headin?" Angelica asks. "Better be a good place."
"I was thinking a buffet." Jayden says. "Good?"
I nodded. "Definitely!"
Jayden's POV:
I actually did mind that Brett was going with us. Angelica, not so much. Well.. I just wanted it to be just Mallory and I. Oh well, let's just see how this goes.
And I can't believe I called Mallory beautiful. I mean she is but.. really, Jay? Out loud? You can't like a nerd, you can't. But.. that might be changing...
