Chapter 12: Creep

"Oh, Mr. and Mrs. Willings, hello." I said as soon as I opened the door.

"Hi, Mallory!" Mrs. Willings said with a smile. "I forgot, call me Jessica."

"And call me Ulysses." Mr. Willings said.

"Sorry for us coming here uninvited and unexpectedly." Jessica apologized.

"No, it's okay, Jessica and Ulysses, come in."

I moved out of the way and they came in. I closed the door behind me.

"So, what brings you two here?" I asked politely.

Jessica turned around. "I heard the foster parents are in town and I wanted to see the other foster kids here."

"Oh, yeah. My foster parents are home. They're-"

"Mallory, who is it?" My foster mom, Yolanda asked from the living room.

"Right this way." I said to them.

We walked in the living room.

"Oh!" Yolanda reacted. "Jessica! Ulysses!"

They both got up.

"Hello!" Jessica said.

"What brings you here?" My foster dad, Nathaniel asks.

"We're here to see the foster children." Ulysses answered.

"Well.. there's Mallory. I'm sure you've met," Yolanda pointed to me. "Mina's upstairs."

"You only have 2 foster children?" Jessica asks.

"Yeah. But there's more. They're from other foster parents in this house." Ulysses explained.

"Oh.."

"Mallory, dear, will you get your sister down here please?" Yolanda asks me.

Great..

"Sure." I nodded.

I went up the stairs and approached my evil sister. I heard banging and moaning coming from her room.

Great.. again. :/

I really didn't want to but I had no choice.

I knocked.

"What?" Mina shouted.

"Uh.. sorry for interrupting but Yolanda and Nathaniel wants you downstairs." I told her.

"What do they want?" she groaned. "Can't they tell I'm busy here?"

She opened the door and had a towel covering her.

Bryant, Mina's boyfriend was beside her.

"Who's this?" He asks.

I waved. "It's Mallory, Bryant.."

"She transformed." Mina told her then rolled her eyes. "Tell them I'll be there in a bit."

I nodded in reply and went back downstairs.

"Where is she?" Ulysses asks.

"She'll be right down."

5 minutes later, she finally came down. With Bryant.

"This is Mina, Mallory's biological sister." Yolanda told them.

"Hello, Mina." Jessica said. "You're a beautiful girl."

"Yeah.." Mina responded. "What am I doing down here, Yolanda?"

"They wanted to see and get to know you, Mina." Yolanda told her. "Now have some respect."

"Well.. I was kinda busy so.."

"Okay. Whatever, go back doing your thing." Nathaniel shooed her.

Mina rolled her eyes and went back upstairs with Bryant.

I saw Bryant took a glance at me then head on upstairs.

Creep..

"Well.. that's Mina." Yolanda said to them.

"She's... interesting." Jessica complimented.

"She's usually like that." Oh s**t. I wasn't suppose to say that out loud.

Jessica, Ulysses, Yolanda, and Nathaniel just laughed.

"True." Yolanda answered.

I faked a chuckle. "Yeah.."

Hours later...

I was in my room studying and doing homework.. like usual.

The door opened.

I took off my glasses and rubbed my eyes. I took my contacts off, don't worry.

I looked up and realized who it was.

Bryant.. Mina's boyfriend.

"Uh.. Aren't you suppose to be with Mina?" I ask.

"Mina's out shopping with Rev." He replied.

"Oh.. why didn't you go with?"

"Because.. I didn't want to be her slave."

"Oh.. I get it."

He closed the door and sat down on my bed. I sat up.

"Can I stay here for company?" He asks.

"Well.. I'm kind of doing my homework.. and studying.." I told him.

"I'll just watch you."

I put my glasses back on.

"Sorry." He said then moved the piece of hair that was falling onto my face.

He moved his hand and I tucked it behind my ear.

Creep..

"Thanks.." I said quietly.

"What was that?" He asks leaning in.

I backed away. "Thanks.."

"No problem." He says.

I was writing down stuff onto my notebook.

"What are you working on?" He asks. "Do you need any help?"

I shook my head. "I'm fine."

"You're a really beautiful girl." he says.

Creep.. Why is he here? Complimenting me?

"Uh.. thanks?"

"More beautiful than Mina. Just don't tell her that."

Okay. I won't tell..

I didn't reply back.

"Mallory?" He asks.

"Yeah...?" I answered.

He leaned in and I backed away.

I put my hands on his chest.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"What? I just want a kiss. I want to see if it's any different from Mina."

"You're dating my sister." I clarified.

"So? It'll be our little secret." He said.

"I'm not going to kiss my sister's boyfriend." I told him.

"Oh! That's right! You haven't had your first kiss right?"

"You should go.." I said.

He leaned in.

"No." I demanded.

"Aw, come on, Mallory!"

"No!" I screamed.

I pushed him back.

"Mallory, I can be your first."

He pulled me forward then the door opened.

"Mallory?" Jay says.

I pushed Bryant back and he fell onto the floor.

"What's going on?" Mina asks.

"Mina?" I said.

"What are you doing in here, Bryant?" She asks him. "What were you doing?"

"She.. she seduced me!" Bryant lied.

"No! Mina, listen to me please. He was trying to kiss me!" I told her.

"Kiss you?" Jay asks.

"Mallory! Quit lying!" Mina yelled at me. "You've always been a jealous b***h! You've always been jealous of me! I can't believe you were seducing my boyfriend! Just because you've gotten prettier, doesn't mean that you can steal my boyfriend!"

"Mi-"

"Shut the f**k up!" She snapped.

She and Bryant left my room.

"What happened?" Jayden asks.

"Mina told you, didn't she?" I said. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"That's not true." He said.

"Forget it."
