"Come on, tell me Mallory." Jay said. "What happened?"
"I said forget it, Jay!" I accidentally yelled. "Sorry."
"It's okay, but tell me. What happened?"
I sigh. "Bryant tried to kiss me."
"He lied?" He asks.
"See, you don't believe me."
"I didn't say I didn't believe you."
"So you do..?"
"Yeah." He smiled. "I do."
I scoff. "Just because I'm your tutor."
"What does that have to do with anything?" He smirked.
"Well.."
"Exactly."
"So..." I said. This just got really awkward..
"So.." He said.
"Do you.. do you wanna learn.. something?" I ask.
"I don't know." He replied. "Do you feel like teaching something to me today?"
I shook my head. "Not really.."
"Then I guess we're not."
"Okay then. What do you wanna-"
He cuts me off. "Do you remember when I asked you if you knew how bad I wanted to kiss you?"
Oh god, where is this going?
"Sure.." Why did I answer like that? Sure? Really, Mallory?
"Well.. and do you remember when I said that I can control myself?" He asks.
"Yeah.." That's more like it. Kinda...
"I.. I don't think I can today.." He admitted.
"What's that suppose to mean?" I ask. I think I know where this is going.
"What do you think?"
"What do I think?"
He hummed a yes.
"Uh.. I.. I can control myself..? I don't know."
"What do I do if I can't control myself towards you?" He asks me.
"Uh.. I don't know."
"You don't know?"
"I don't know." I repeated.
"Then.. do you mind if I.. y'know.."
"What?" I asked.
"If I.." He seemed really nervous. I wonder why.
"If you what?"
"Kiss-"
The door opened.
"Hey, Mallory." Rev said.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"Yolanda and Nathaniel wants you downstairs." She told me.
"Uh.. may I ask why?"
"I don't know. But they want you. NOW."
"Okay.." I said.
I went downstairs and Jayden followed.
"What's going on?" I ask.
"Mallory, did you seduce Bryant?" Yolanda asks.
"No." I told her.
"Are you sure?" Nathaniel asks. "Because your sister is crying. She saw you kissing Bryant."
"What?" I exclaimed.
Jayden said," Wait, wait, hold up-"
"Who are you?" Nathaniel asks.
"Yolanda, Nathaniel, she's lying. Ask Bryant." I said.
"Bryant?" Yolanda said.
"She did. She try to seduce me and kiss me." He lied.
"I'm her boyfriend." Jayden told them.
"What?" They all said including me.
"Lies!" Mina yelled. "She's just your tutor!"
"Well.. we're dating."
"Jay..-"
He whispered in my ear. "I got this. Just follow my lead."
"We're together." Jayden told them.
"Really?" Yolanda asks.
"Yes."
"Prove it!" Mina yelled.
Jay looked me in the eyes and I just stood there.
He leaned in and again, I just stood there.
He was about to press his lips against mines but..
"Mallory? What's going?" Brett's voice spoked.
"Mallory? And Jay? KISSING?" Angelica exclaimed.
I quickly moved away.
"Their lips didn't even touch!" Rev pointed out. "They were 5 inches away!"
Jayden and I didn't kiss.
"What's going on, Yolanda and Ulysses?" Brett asks.
"That b***h tried to seduce my boyfriend!" Mina accused.
"Let me tell you, Yolanda and Nathaniel, I did not seduce Bryant. I did not try to kiss him. He was on the floor because I pushed him." I told them.
"Why did you push him then?" Rev asks.
"Because he was trying to kiss me." I pointed at myself.
"f*****g liar!" Mina yelled. "She does everything!"
"Says the girl who throws parties without Yolanda's or Nathaniel's permission!" I yelled.
"Party?" They asks.
"Yes." I said. "She and Rev was going to throw a party tonight but they found out that you two were coming home tonight so they quickly cancelled it."
"100% true?" Yolanda asks.
"Yes." Angelica answered.
"Mina, Rev, is this true?" Nathaniel asks them.
"No!" Mina yelled. "She's clearing lying! She's making all these s**t up!"
"Mallory.." Yolanda and Nathaniel said.
"Okay. You guys don't believe me?" I ask. "Fine. Believe her. I give up. Don't believe me."
I started approaching the stairs but stopped. "Oh yeah. And thanks for listening to my side of the story."
