Chapter 10: Pizza

"Mallory!" Jay shouted.
I stopped and turned around. "Yeah?"
"I'm the one who brought you here so I have to take you home!" He said.
Right.. I forgot.
"I'll call an uber!" I told him.
He puts his hands on his hips. "You have money on you?"
I shook my head. "Uh.. Do you have money I can borrow? I'll pay you right back."
He walked up to me. "I can give you a ride for free, Mallory."
"Uh.." I spoke.
"Sorry." He said. "That sounded dirty.."
"I didn't think.. dirty." I told him.
"I'll take you home.." He started to say. "But you have to stay with me for dinner."
I crossed my arms. "Oh yeah. And what are we having?"
He rubbed the back of his neck and bit his lip. "Uh.. we can order pizza?"
I nod my head. "I'm down."
His face lit up. "Really?"
"Yeah. I didn't get to eat it yesterday so why not?"
We went back inside.
Jay took out his phone.
"What would you like?" He asks me.
"Sausage." I answered.
"I'm more of a pepperoni guy." He told me.
"Well.. that might be a problem."
"How about we split it?"
I nodded.
Jay ordered on the phone. "Hello, I'll like to order a large sausage pizza and split it with the other half being pepperoni, with extra cheese."
He looked at me if I was okay with having extra cheese. I just nodded my head.
"Pasta.." He continued. "Chicken wings and a liter of Pepsi."
He put the phone down.
"That was a lot." I commented.
"Exactly $30."
Our food came and it took about an hour.
Jayden went to go get it.
Jayden's POV:
I opened the door.
"Aspyn?" I exclaimed.
"Hello, Jay." She said.
"You work for Pizza Hut?" I ask.
"Yeah." She answered. "When I heard you were ordering, I volunteered to deliver it."
"Well.. why?"
"Because, I wanted to see you."
"It was a one night stand." I face palmed my forehead.
"Well.. we can do it again," she said then held up the food. "with this."
"No, Aspyn. I'm kind if busy right now." I told her.
"Oh, you got another b***h?"
"No, she's not a bitch."
"Jay?" a soft voice spoked that was Mallory.
Mallory revealed herself.
"This b***h?!" Aspyn exclaimed. "The nerd?!"
"Don't call her that!" I snapped.
"Uh.. what's going on?" Mallory asks.
Mallory's POV:
"I'll be right there." Jayden told me.
"Am I interrupting something?" I ask.
"No," Jay said. "hold on. I'll be there."
"We're just about to do something." Aspyn told me.
"No, we're not." Jay said face palming his head.
"Um.. should I leave?"
"No." Jay said.
"Yes." Aspyn said.
I went back to the living room and grabbed my bag.
I was about to head out the door but Jayden grabbed my arm.
"Mallory." He said.
I stopped and turned. "You have company, so I should leave."
"You're my company."
I shook my head. "I don't think so, Jayden."

"So.. how'd 'tutoring' go yesterday?" Angelica asks me.
"It was fine." I told her.
"What else did you guys do?"
"Nothing." I replied.
"Are you sure?"
I nod. "Yeah. I'm sure."
I was doodling in my notebook whilst talking to her.
"Your bae is here." I heard Angelica said.
I looked up and saw him.
He sat down next to me and Angelica moved to a different seat.
"I couldn't eat all the pizza by myself." He said.
I laughed. "Jay."
"Seriously! I saved the sausage side for you and some pasta and some chicken!" He told me. "Plus, the Pepsi too! I couldn't finish it."
"How about Aspyn?" I stopped doodling.
"She left."
I looked at him in the eye. "You sure she didn't stay for your night stand?"
He put one hand up. "I swear."
I laughed. "You're so silly."
"So.." he started to say. "tutoring at my place today? I swear, nobody can interrupt us."
"Okay." I laughed.
"Awesome." He smiled.
