Chapter 15: Lip biting & adopting?

"You.. you what?"
"I like you, a lot, Mallory." He told me again. "I'm crazy for you."
"I.. I don't know what to say."
"Do you not feel the same?" He asks.
"I'm just.. I'm just doing my own thing." I told him.
"As in playing hard to get, huh?"
"No."
"Are you sure, Mallory?"
"Yeah." I clarified. "Why would you like me? That doesn't make any sense. I mean, look at me. I'm a mess. I'm not the prettiest-"
"Hey, stop saying negative things about you." He demanded. "You're beautiful, just the way you are. I don't care how you look like or how you dress. Your personality is what makes me smile. You. Everything."
"I don't think that's true, Jay.."
"It is true. Everybody's beautiful. And you're one of them."
I bit my lip. "Uh.. Jayden.."
"Stop biting your lip." He demanded.
"Why?"
"Because every time you bite it, it makes me go crazy."
"Not a good enough of an answer.." I bit my lip.
"Fine. Let me give it a try." He said.
"Wha-"
He smashed his lips onto mines. He bit my bottom lip and I realized a moan escaped from my lip.
He backed away.
I bit my lip. "Uh.."
"I'll love to bite that lip of yours again." He said.
I chuckled. "Then do it."
Again, he smashed his lips onto mines and bit it.
After a few minutes of talking, he asked me a question.
"Do you like me?"
"Do I like you?"
"Don't answer my question in another question."
"Sorry.."
"Yeah."
"Um.." I didn't know how to answer it.
"Well..?"
I hesitated. "Ye.. yeah.."
His face lit up. "You do?"
I chuckled. "Well.. yeah, I let you kiss me."
"That's true.."
"What are we?" I ask.
"What do you want us to be?"
I looked at him. "Don't answer my question in another question."
"Well.. sorry.." He apologized.
"Hehe, you're funny. How would we solve this question?"
"The answer will be.." he started to say.
"Uh..." I don't know what to say.
"Be my girlfriend then."
"What?" My eyes widened.
"Be my girlfriend. It'll solve it."

Jayden's POV:
I'm so happy that Mallory agreed to be my girlfriend. I really like her. Ever since.
"Jayden, what do you think of Mallory becoming your sister?" My mom asks.
That pulled me away from my thoughts.
"What?????!" I exclaimed.
"Is that a yes or a no, Jay?" Dad asks.
"Mom! Dad! I just asked her to be my girlfriend today!" I told them.
"What?!" They both exclaimed.
"You said that you two were only friends." Mom said.
"I know, but that was before."
"That wasn't even that long ago. How could you like each other that fast?" Dad asks.
"I liked her ever since!"
"You never told us that!"
"Well, I'm telling you now."
"There's no other way, Jay." Mom says.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked.
"We already asked permission. You two have to break up."

Mallory's POV:
"Mallory, can we speak to you?" Yolanda asks.
I stopped and turned around.
"If it was about yesterday then, I'm sorry." I said.
"No, come sit down." Nathaniel says.
I sat down at the dining table with them.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"How do you feel... about getting adopted?" They asks.
"Depends. By who?"
"Ulysses and Jessica." They answered.
"Jayden's parents?"
They nodded.
"Um..."
"What is it, honey?" Yolanda asks.
"Hold on." I said. "I have to make a phone call."
I went in the living room and dialed Jayden's number.
"Hello?" We both answered.
"Do you know what's going on?" He asks.
"Yeah." I responded. "What do we do?"
"Did you tell them that we're dating?"
"No. Not yet. Did you?"
"Yeah."
"Mallory, what's going on?" Yolanda asks.
"You're not dating.. Jayden, aren't you?" Nathaniel asked.
"Put me on speaker." Jayden demanded.
I did as told.
"Yes. Mallory and I are dating."
