SCARLET’S POV
Ouch! My head was splitting into a thousand pieces. It felt like logs of wood were shoved into it. My body was numb, and my legs felt heavy. I couldn't move it, there was no point trying.
The world around me was dark, and filled with voices humming from a distance. Then, it slowly started to register
“Did you see her eyelids move? I think I saw it now.” A faint familiar voice I recognized but couldn’t quite place sounded inches away from me.
A small grunt. “It’s all in your head Lina.” Another voice, this time a masculine voice echoed in my head. The pain I was feeling in my head intensified.
