KADE'S POV I woke up to a ceiling I didn't recognize and a headache that felt like Roto had spent the night clawing at the inside of my skull. My vision swam when I tried to sit up, the room tilting at an angle that made my stomach lurch, and I dropped back against the pillows with a groan that scraped my throat raw.
