SCARLET’S POV
“I’m not going anywhere. What’s the point in it?” My voice came out reluctant. My heart was pounding faster in my ribcage. I could feel it ripping out.
Lina sighed, scrolling through her phone. “If you’d said this last year, I wouldn’t have said a word. I mean, everybody’s opinion and feelings should be honored.”
I gave my head a little shake. “What do you mean?”
She handed her phone to me. My eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when I read the content of the letter. “Compulsory for everyone to come for the ceremony. You’ve got to be kidding me.”
Lina narrowed her eyes, staring at me intently. “Just so you know, the Castillo triplets have such super powers even if you’re not at the mating ground, they’ll find out.”
