chapter 8

I was waiting for Theo's call.. it was now almost 1 PM..and suddenly the bell rang so i walked towards the door to open it..

And i opened the door, my eyes met with the most mesmerising green eyes..

I was loss of words at first..

"Do you mind if i come in?" His deep voice make me come back to the reality.. s**t i forgot that.. i nodded and moved aside from the door and he walked in. I closed the door and followed him inside.. my heart was beating really fast now..

I looked at his hand.. he was holding a bag.. wait was that food? We both walked towards the couch and he sat there taking out the foods he bought

"How's Eva now?" He asked

"She's sleeping.. and you bought this for...."

"You and eva" he finished my sentence

"Thank you, Mr. Spencer but you really shouldn't have bothered about it.."

"It's totally fine, i would have done this if it was anna instead of Eva.. so it's no big deal" he said and it really warms my heart. Mom was right..theo is indeed a caring person..

"This one is for your mom.. warm it up when she wakes up.. okay?" He asked

"Okay, Mr. Spencer" i said and he looked at me for a bit before saying

"You really don't have to call me like that.. it's way too formal.. i think Theodore would be better" he said and i can literally feel my cheeks burning up..

"Okay, Theodore" i said and saw him smiling then he pointed at the food on the table

"Eat it before it gets cold" he said and i looked at the food and nodded then went to take two plates and when i came back i saw him getting up as if he was about to leave.. but i stopped him saying it's lunch time so we can eat together but he said it was just for me so i replied that the food is too much for me so we should share it..

"Dieting for the wedding?" He teased and i smiled and said yeah i need to get fit into the bride's maid's dress.. he chuckled and nodded after that we sat next to each other and ate lunch together.. this was really exciting because it wasn't with the whole family but only us. Call me delusional because i know i am but this felt like a small date.. lol this is so stupid but it made me happy.. we really talked a lot..he mostly asked questions..about me, my studies.. about how Andrew is with me and mom..

He was basically making sure that he treated us okay.. he even pointed it out that I'm a bit nervous around him which i declined..even though i know he's right.. he joked about it as well.. after that he met mom..she was awake by that time and had come to the kitchen.. they talked for a while and he made sure she rested well and gave her the food he bought and after mom ate that he said bye and left.. but before leaving, he ruffled my hair and said

"Take care of yourself and your mom, kiddo" as much i hate that kiddo thing but it made me happy how he ruffled my hair playfully..
