We finished the spell, and Serina seemed in much better condition than she had been in a while, and I had to admit it was aa relief to hear that she wanted to go back to the pack with us, with the exception that we brought her brother along as well.
The only reason I agreed was because of the fact that Jaxton was Alex’s mate, and I was not going to stand in between their love for one another. With that being said, we were all packing our belongings, and getting ready to leave.
I headed towards the car after greeting Serina’s parents, watching everyone else do the same, and I had the sense that everything might just work out for us. I just hoped the spell they did on Lilly would make her more responsive, and make her realize the gravity of the situation.
