Feeling relieved

Eve woke up feeling relived that it was weekend, it had been two days since she found out about Kevin cheating on her. She had stayed with Kevin for 4 years. When she first met him she was doing her final year at college, where as he was working at a garage. Unfortunately the business at the garage started shaking and they had to cut employees and Kevin was one of them.  

That time Eve had just started working and she didn't mind staying with her boyfriend while he was looking for a job. Over the past years things didn't really go according to plans. Kevin struggled to get a job and considering that he didn't even go to college it made things worse. 

Eve persuade him to at least go back to college and study something so that he could at least find a good job.This led to Eve paying for everything, at least he got a bursary all she had to do was just pay for rent buy food and also buy clothes. This had made her feel tired inside despite knowing that he was going to be something in the future.

 After staying together for 2 year Eve found messages on Kevin's phone, telling different girls how he liked them. She felt angry inside, she was busy taking care of him and here he was cheating on her. The moment she found those messages she felt torn apart, after confronting him he kept on telling her how that was not important. He told her how much he loved her and all those messages was just for fun, he didn't like all of those girls. He even mentioned that he had never even met one of those girls.

From that day onward Even stayed with Kevin but deep inside her heart things had changed. She knew she had grow tired from paying all those expenses and taking care of this Man. She found herself searching his phone now and then which lead to more argument on how she doesn't trust Kevin. But who could blame her, being cheated on was really difficult. 

Now after all these 4 years here she was, and deep inside she felt relieved. She felt happy, over the past years she had sacrificed herself for making this relationship work. At some point she had the need of giving up and here she was finally alone. There were so many thing she had wanted to do before but because she had to count two people in, she always ended up not doing it. She had always wanted her own house but she never bought one because she didn't want Kevin to feel left out.

Over the past years she dreamed of going places just to enjoy herself but she couldn't. Right now she just felt it was time for her to live her life to the fullest. She was gonna do everything she ever dreamed of. It was time to make up for the lost time.
