The hollow

Alison had been stuck babysitting her siblings all day, two girls and two boys.

The boys were the hardest, being 12 and 10, they were constantly either fighting each other, or making a mess through out the house.

Her sisters who was 14 and 8 was easier, although the 8 year old had a mean streak, but putting the movie frozen on repeat, would solve that problem every time.

As Alison’s mom entered the house, Alison grabbed her purse and exited the house yelling “I’m sleeping at Maddie’s tonight” as she ran down the stairs.

She didn’t bother bringing any cloths for tonight, because she knew whatever she would bring, would get veto’ed by Maddie anyway.

Thank god they were both slim and the same hight, so everything in Maddie’s closet, fit her too.

As Alison’s beat up Toyota entered the fancy driveway, Maddie squealed and bolted to the door to greet her.

It was 6pm and Maddie had been sitting by the window looking like a lost puppy waiting for her master for over an hour.

“What the hell took you so long??” Maddie exclaimed as she opened the door.

“My mom had to work overtime so she didn’t get home until now” Alison said as she started climbing the gigantic front staircase.

Maddie gave her a sad look and said

“I’m sorry, it’s not fair they rely so heavily on you, next time I’ll help you babysit. I’m glad you finally came though, cause I promised Erica that we would meet her at 8, so get your butt inside missy!”

Maddie slapped Alison’s butt as she walked past her into the house.

An hour and 45 minutes later they were all ready.

Maddie had forced Alison into a red backless lace dress.

It stopped right above her knees, with red heels and her blond hair was in a high ponytail showcasing Alison’s long slender neck.

Alison had chosen a red lipstick and smoky eyes which made her look “classy and refined” according to Maddie.

Maddie was wearing a black satin dress, it had a crisscross pattern on the back and a high neckline and Black satin heels.

Her brown hair was perfectly curled down her back and framed her smoky eyes and subtle nude lips.

Wearing dark colors paired with her brown eyes made Maddie’s white porcelain skin even more noticeable.

The girls didn’t leave the house without saying good by to Maddie’s dad, who was hunched over rubbing his temples at his desk.

Maddie had noticed that her dad had seemed more stressed the past two months but figured it was the stress of the pending wedding.

Her sister was marrying a businessman who had good connections and had helped her dad get some questionable building licenses.

She knew everything had to go smoothly to not rock the boat on the properties they were now building hotels on.

She had kissed his temple, rolled her eyes at his comment of how her dress was too short and promised they would stay safe.

As they entered Maddie’s Lexus Alison put some music on that had a killer base to get them pumped up for their night out.

Erica, who they both knew from back in high school was going with them, and was standing in her driveway in a cute green halter top dress, making her look like poison ivy with her red hair in a messy bun.

They were all in agreement that this night was gonna be LITT!!!

“Ewww!! What the hell is she doing here!!”

They had just entered The Hollow nightclub and to Maddie’s horror her half sister Bianca was standing at the bar with 3 unmemorable minions by her side.

“Why isn’t she on her side of town!” Maddie huffed as she stomped the floor.

“She probably thinks she owns the entire town now after snatching Ben, and forcing him into wedlock” Erica hissed and grabbed a drink from a server walking by.

The server was surprised but didn’t comment.

Erica and Ben had been going back and forth for a year until Bianca had gotten her grabby hands on him.

Ericka said she wasn’t bothered but she wasn’t fooling anyone.

Alison, grabbed the girls an dragged them to the other end of the club where a table was empty.

Maddie flagged a waiter down and ordered 3 cosmo’s and 6 shots of tequila on the side.

“And what will you be having” Maddie said, turning twords her two friends.

Alison rolled her eyes, and said “sharing is caring” much to Maddie’s dismay.

As the girls got their drinks Alison knew that she would have to distract Maddie from her half sister all night.

See unlike Maddie who liked anonymity, her half sister loved to throw their fathers name around.

It was probably how she even appeared on Ben radar in the first place.

Without their dad’s name, Bianca was nobody.

Sure, Bianca was pretty, but not effortlessly pretty like Erica, and no way near as pretty as Maddie.

Maddie had a feral beauty, she didn’t care what other people thought about her, and Alison envied that about her.

“We’re dancing !” Maddie exclaimed chugging the rest of her cosmo and downing her second shot before dragging both girls out of their seat and twords the dance floor.

Maddie who had been highly agitated after finding out her sister had stepped onto her terf finally started to let loose as the rhythm filled her body.

She knew men were looking at the three of them, the way the three girls seductively swayed their hips and were grinding on each other was indeed noticeable.

She had one rule though, men could look but not engage.

Whenever a man tried to come between the three girls they would avoid them and move to another spot and if necessary, give the men dirty looks if they dared to touch any of them.

It wasn’t that Maddie didn’t like men, but drunk idiots were not her thing, so she made sure they kept moving.

“Maddie!!” A shrill voice cut through the music.

Without noticing, the theee girls had moved closer to where Bianca was and had been spotted.

Maddie gave her a fake smile and gestured that the music was too loud for her to hear what she said.

Alison braced herself for a possible altercation though, she was ready to pull Maddie off of Bianca if necessary.

Bianca flashed her big diamond ring at the three girls like it was an Olympic gold medal, and Erica rolled her eyes before heading off towards their table.

Alison was torn between being Maddie’s back up, and checking on Erika, so she stood frozen waiting for Maddie’s next move.

“Congratulations on finally finding a man who claims you as his” Maddie responded, looking at her sweetly, but no doubt referring to their dad and Bianca’s strained relationship.

Bianca froze, her smile faltered and as quickly as she had appeared, she was gone in the crowed of people, loudly cursing something to the minions trailing behind her.

Maddie broke out in a fit of laughter, While Alison shook her head.

“Why do you always have to be so mean” Alison asked, full well knowing the answer.

Bianca had been the walking talking proof that the man Maddie’s mom loved with all her heart, didn’t love her enough to keep his hands to himself.

Maddie knew it had broken her mothers heart, and to make matters worse, Bianca’s mom flaunted their affair in her mothers face, showing up unannounced to their home whenever she wanted something for her and Bianca.

Maddie sat back down in the seat next to Erica who was staring into the bottom of her empty second shot glas.

Alison ordered a second, and third round knowing they would need it and started scouting for possible hook ups for Erica in the crowed.

“Something about getting over someone by getting under someone else” she mumbled to herself.

There!!

A good looking man was standing in a corner looking a little lost but he was totally Erica’s type!

Alison nudged Erica and pointed to where the man stood and Erica lit up seeing him.

“Nailed it”” Alison thought to herself as Erica rose from her seat, adjusted her dress and walked over to the guy.

Maddie had a gigantic grin on her face, she knew what Alison was trying to do and she approved.

She never liked Ben anyway, he was too full of himself due to his fathers political connections and his connections to her dad.

Alison then looked at Maddie expectantly

“ohhh no you don’t!” Maddie exclaimed, she was not looking for a hookup tonight, so it would be a wast of Alison’s time to even try.

Alison shrugged and as on queue their drinks were placed on the table.

Maddie rubbed her hands in glee and lifted her third tequila shot of the night to her lips.
