Secrets

As the two men arrived at their table, Alison waved and told them to take a seat.

Erica was far away in La la land drooling at the both of them with a s**t eating grin on her face, while Maddie was scowling at Alison.

“I can’t believe you made it after all” Alison said while handing Jason the cocktail menu.

“We had some free time after all” Jason responded.

“Ahem!!” Said an annoying voice from behind the two men.

Maddie looked up to see her half sister glaring at them with her hands on her hips.

“Aren’t you going to introduce me to your friends” Bianca said in a sickly sweet voice.

“Why” Maddie responded, making Alison chuckle, and earning her another glare from Bianca.

“Fine” Maddie sighed “this is Alison and this is Erica, say hi girls” pointing to the two girls.

“That’s not who I was referring to, and you know it” Bianca retorted, slapping Maddie playfully on the arm before sitting down at the table behind them, gesturing for her minions to do the same.

“Well you said my friends” Maddie mumbled as she downed the rest of her cocktail.

“Anyway, Hi my name is Bianca, I’m Maddie’s sister” she said stretching her hand out to greet the two men.

“Half!l Maddie interjected trying to get the attention of the waiter and her comment earned her a quick scowl from Bianca which was hurriedly hid behind a bashful smile.

“Jason, and this is my brother Oliver” The wall flatly said, not bothering to shake Bianca’s hand.

“Oh okay, well it’s nice to meet you both” Bianca responded, pulling her hand back awkwardly and placing it in her lap.

“So how do you know my sister?” Bianca then asked, trying desperately to keep the conversation going

“We.. we have people in common” Jason answered, sending Maddie a knowing look while he said it, and then proceeded to put his arm on the back of Alisons chair, effectively turning his back to Bianca.

Maddie wanted to dig a hole and die in it, and as the waiter arrived she was quick to order a double whiskey, no ice.

Making Alison peek around Jason’s giant form to shoot her a look that said ‘WTH??’

Alison knew It never ended well when Maddie drank Whisky, but Maddie just shot her a stern look back and mouthed “this is on you” gesturing to the newly arrived company around them.

Erica had moved seats, squeezing herself in between Alison and Oliver, hell bent on striking up a conversation with Oliver.

Maddie had gotten her double whiskey, and contemplated weather or not she should just ask for a bottle instead, and go back to her room to drink her misery away.

She had been looking forward to going away somewhere where The hulk didn’t keep popping up, and now she was stuck with both his cousins, curtesy of Alison.

How did that even happen anyway.. was it at the engagement party.. had Alison given Jason her number then.. had they seen each other since.. were they dating!!

Maddie felt hurt that Alison hadn’t told her anything at all.. they were suppose to best friends yet Maddie had been kept completely in the dark.

“So I’m guessing they aren’t your favorite people?” David asked quietly.

With everything that had happened, Maddie had completely forgotten the cute IT guy next to her, the one she had been flirting with earlier.

“Oh!.. yeah no, not my cup of tea”

Maddie answered making David sigh in relief.

“Good, that means I still have a shot after all” he laughed, showing off his dimples as he smiled.

“Maybe” Maddie answered, as she shot him a seductive smile back..but then a man cleared his throat.

Maddie turned around and saw Jason eyeing her with a stern look on his face, while slowly shaking his head.

“What??” Maddie whispered, to not catch Alison or David’s attention.

“You are playing a dangerous game” Jason whispered back.

“HE doesn’t own me, I’m a grown woman and can do what ever the heck I want” Maddie whisper yelled, shooting him a stern look.

“What ever you say pumpkin, just know that any body part of his that touches you, I am instructed to remove” Jason responded casually before turning around to face Alison again.

It took a minute for Maddie to fully register exactly what he had meant.

Then she gulped.

Because some SOB had decided she was property that he now owned, she had no say in what she did, or who she decided to do it with!?!

Anger bubbled inside her, she wasn’t his to control, and she would prove it!

Maddie turned to David, and with a sensual tone in her voice she asked “Wanna go to my room?”

David accepted and they arranged to meet back in her room since David needed to go to his room first and get some protection.

Maddie got up from her chair, whispered to Alison that she was going upstairs, Alison winked at her and gave Maddie a knowing smile.

Maddie and Daniel parted ways by the elevators since he was going down, and she was going up.

As she entered the penthouse, she hurriedly brushed her teeth, washed her armpits and waited for David’s arrival.

..10 minutes ticked by..

..20 minutes ticked by..

..30 minutes ticked by..

40 f*****g minuets had gone by and no sign of David!

Maddie went back down stairs to the bar.

The rest of the IT guys and Ursula the she-witch were gone, even the Wall brothers chairs were empty and Only Alison and Erica were present, merrily chatting away, visibly intoxicated.

“Where did everyone go?” Maddie asked, pulling out a chair next to them.

“They left us” Erica grinned while trying to pout.

Alison was giggling while she spoke “ well..first you left with IT guy, then Jason and Oliver had to handle something real quick, which wasn’t quick at all since they haven’t come back yet.

Your sister didn’t want to hang with us since the hunks were gone, and the IT Guys.. are just party poopers apparently, cause they went to bed”

“Hang with hunks” Erica giggled “it rimes” giggling so hard she accidentally snorted, making Alison burst out laughing.

“Wow! You guys are hammered, you might want to quit while You’re still making somewhat sense” Maddie chuckled

Making the two girls scream out “NO” in unison.

“Did you end your dry spell” Alison asked, trying to wiggle her eyebrows.

“Nope! he never came to my room” Maddie said dejectedly.

“He ghosted you??” Erica exclaimed in shock, jumping out of her chair, but instantly looked woozy and sat back down.

“That mother fucker!! I hope he rots in hell!!” Alison said, shaking her fist in the air.

“ let us help you drink away your sorrow” Erica said, getting the attention of the waiter and ordering 6 vodka shots.

As they were placed on the table, Maddie downed each and every one of them while saying “I think you you guys have had enough” making the girls pout and cross their arms.

Maddie sat down waiting for the alcohol to take effect, she had never had a man ditch her like that.. maybe he had heard parts of her conversation with Jason and thought she was cheating on her boyfriend with him?

Maddie shook it off, the girls were right, To hell with David.

“I Miss him” Alison said, making a sad face.

“He’ll come back soon, I’m sure of it cause he is definitely interested in you, I can tell” Erica said comforting, wrapping her arm around Alison.

“That right!! I forgot to ask you, what the heck is going on with you and Jason” Maddie questioned.

Alison definitely had some explaining to do.

“oh!” Alison blushed “we exchanged numbers at the engagement party, and he is actually kinda funny” she said, smiling from ear to ear.

“Why didn’t you tell me” Maddie questioned, hurt evident in her voice.

“I was afraid you would think it was a bad idea” Alison said meekly, hanging her head in shame.

“Well while I’m not sure he is any good for you, I’m honestly more hurt by the fact that you kept secrets from me Alison, Best friends don’t keep secrets” Maddie said hearing a loud cough behind her.

“Keep going, it was something about not keeping secrets?” Jason questioned while raising an eyebrow, as he looked at Maddie.

Realization dawned on Maddie, she definitely had some secrets of her own.
