Dad managed to bury the Dean-and-Baron mess with money and important phone calls. At the end of the day, a new TV, medical bills, next semester's tuition for both idiots, and a fat "apology settlement" solved the problem. Dad also made the police report vanish like it never existed.
Everything cost him a lot of money he hasn't said a word about yet, but Zayn and I both know the bill will come due eventually, and it'll be him paying in ways that have nothing to do with cash.
