Riley and I spent a good while chatting in the living room, sipping iced tea the chef had prepared for us, and I told Riley about the garden idea. She thought it was a good idea but was annoyed that the chef was here because she'd wanted to cook.
I told her she could still cook. This house had more than one kitchen, and we could totally do our own thing without being in anyone's way.
But first, I wanted to try the spa. “Hey, remember when I told you about that spa area I discovered the other day?”
Riley’s eyes lit up immediately. “Yes! I do.”
“I could use a massage. How about you?” Riley said she could use one too. “It was empty that day, and I don't know if we have to call people in or book something or what. I wonder…”
