A week after the incident with Thiago, it’s Christina’s birthday. Yes, and I’m not nervous. Of course not. Because the fact that Christina is going to introduce me to all her friends is no big deal. The fact that it’s my first party, also not a big deal. I try not to think about all the disasters I could cause. Like tripping over my own feet and falling on the cake, or falling in the pool, or on the floor, or even worse, rolling down the stairs. Yep, none of that is going to happen. Who am I kidding? All, absolutely all of those things could very well happen at once! Did I mention rolling down the stairs? Because yes, wearing a pair of demon-spawn called heels won’t make it hard to walk, right? RIGHT?!
