"Me neither."
"Don’t forget," he looks at me with dark eyes. "Because we’ll be picking up right where we left off."
I nod, my throat suddenly dry.
When I remember that his sister and Jared are waiting for us outside, I pull away from him as I absentmindedly comb my hair with my fingers.
"Is it okay if I call Christina to come with us?"
"No!" Aaron shouts immediately, startling me a bit. "She’s with Evan and so far I’ve done a good job of keeping that i***t away from my sister."
"Huh?"
"I don’t have enough self-control to watch Evan flirting with my sister, Bess. In this case, neither does Jared, so if you don’t want Jared and me to kill Evan, don’t tell Christina anything."
"Evan wouldn’t flirt with your sister, especially not with her boyfriend there," I say
