Trapping Someone

Having just arrived at the office, Evan saw Freya on the phone, looking very frustrated. From what he overheard, it sounded like she was having a fight with her mother. So he went over to her after Freya hung up. As soon as Freya hung up and sighed, Evan approached her with a small smile. "Oh dear. Life is hard for adults. Isn't it?" he said quietly. Freya looked up. "Did you hear that?" she asked awkwardly. Evan chuckled. "Just run away from home. Good idea, right?" Freya laughed. "What, I'm not a child. How could I run away like that?" "You're still a child. Not 30 yet, are you?" Freya's laughter broke out again. Evan smiled, too. "You finally laughed. I said that to make you laugh." "That's right, I'm laughing because of you," Freya said with a smile that was still half bitter.
