Felix went to the product development team room to see Victoria because he had something to discuss with her. However, when he arrived at the room, he didn't see Victoria there.
"Mr. Felix? Can I help you, sir?" Nadine, seeing Felix standing in her doorway, immediately approached him.
"Where is Victoria?" she asked.
"Miss Victoria has taken the day off, sir."
Felix furrowed his brow. "Taking the day off?" he asked, trying to be sure.
Nadine nodded.
This was not at all unusual. Since her first day as CEO of Lumora Tech, she had never heard of Victoria asking for leave. In fact, her co-workers said that Victoria was the one who rarely took leave and put in the most overtime. But... what was it now?
