The events of last night had left Victoria so exhausted that she couldn't make it to work today. After hearing Evan say such hurtful things about her last night, she felt like losing her energy. Her fever reached 40, almost sending her to the hospital, but she refused, opting instead for an IV at home. Her heart was aching, her stomach was nauseous, and even swallowing food was difficult.
