(Erin’s POV)
“Rye? Got a sec?” I asked as I poked my head into his room.
It’s Saturday, and tonight we’ve got a team meet-up to go to. Of course, Ryan is enthused about it, but I’m not quite there. Tonight’s meet is at another club and that’s not really my thing.
“Sure, cuz. What’s up?”
I smiled at his response as I moved fully into his room and sat on the edge of the bed while I hesitantly began. “It’s about me and Sean. I’m not sure what to do at this point. I like him. I like him a lot. But he wants things to move to the next step, and I’m just not sure I’m ready for that.”
Yes, I know. It sounds odd that I’d go to my male cousin for dating advice, but he’s not just my cousin, he’s my best friend, and we’ve always been able to talk about just about anything with one another.
