Tobias didn’t hadn’t expected a message from Amara and especially not the content of the message.
Duncan who stood nearby could feel the rise in his temper.
“Duncan,” The assistant nearly flinched when he was called. “Get my uncle for me.”
“Y-yes Sir!”
Duncan quickly left the room and hurriedly went to search for the Vice president.
He found the man in the lounge, looking a bit…disturbed.
“Mr. Eugene?”
The man’s head whipped in his direction and the assistant gulped when the look in his eyes became more intense.
“Mr. Tobias sent for you.”
“Tell him I’ll get there in a bit.”
Duncan didn’t need to be told twice.
He rushed out the lounge and ran back to Tobias’s office, where he found him on his computer.
“Sir, Mr. Eugene will be here in a minute.”
