A whole week of pure peace and silence felt like the strangest thing that had ever happened to Amara. There was no Tobias popping up out of thin air, or Celestine showing up to ruin her day, or even Fiona to annoy the heck out of her.
It was quiet and peaceful, and honestly, it scared Amara a bit.

Sighing, she decided not to dwell on it and instead, focus on the task at hand.
Today, she had a meeting with Gemini and honestly, she was really happy that she didn’t have to see Tobias’s face. Him dropping out of the project seemed like the best decision made this month.
