560 Words
Lizzie I look at David. So many thoughts are going through my mind. It's all I've been dreaming about for over a year and here he was; asking me out. I'm scared it's all a cruel joke, but the only thing I can see in his eyes is pure sincerity and a little bit of fear. Fear of rejection      - Say something; Please Lizzie David says in a whisper. I take in a breath while I feel a single tear running down my cheek.     - You have no idea how many times I've dreamed of hearing those words or for how long     - How long?     - Over a year! Since the moment I saw you. I say looking deep into his eyes.      - So is that a yes?     - Oh god yes! I would love to go on a date!     - How about tonight?     - As much as I want to say yes; I have to decline. I'm dragging Sarah to the clubs. He looked at me with nothing but affection.      - At least you said yes. Now I have to meet this Sarah of yours, since I'm going to be stealing you away from her this vacation     - I can text her now if you want? I don't think she's at the studio just yet     - Studio? I take out my phone texting Sarah     - Yeah, I've booked the dancestudio for her. Without her dancing, she will be going cray-cray. Especially when she doesn't get to hold Theodore the next couple of weeks.     - Is he her boyfriend?     - No; he's her son. My godson     - So you're the Godmother? I smiled at David     - That I am; I can make you an offer, you can't refuse     - I do love a girl who knows her movie classics     - Using the L-word already cuz? I turned around to see this tall man with a smirk on his face. I could see  a small resemblence between the two. I would say they were equaly tall, the same chestnut colour hair; just as thick. You could clearly see he works out and I notices that all women in the café was looking in his direction; almost drueling     - Lizzie, this is my cousin Danny     - Hi I said while shaking his hand     - Hi yourself. Not bad, Dave; not bad at all. So, am I all alone tonight?     - No, Lizzie are going clubbing with her friend tonight. I'm guessing a dancebattle yet againg? David asks me.      - You bet!     - Dancebattle?     -  You should have seen their battle last night, Danny     - Last night? Are you the one everyone is calling Rose? People are talking about her nonestop!     - No, that would be my friend.     - I would like to meet her Danny said with a smirk, while he winked at Daivd. I looked at my phone to see if Sarah had written me back.     - Well you are in luck; she will be here in 10 minutes.     - Well, excuse me; I will head to the little boys room before she arrive. Maybe I will get lucky; what do you think Dave?     - You are a hound, you know that     - And proud of it! Danny begins to howl like a hound and leaves. I know he doesn't stand a chance, but who am I to crush his dreams
