20 Meredith : 3rd Night We watch the seven o’clock news headlines. There’s nothing new about the search for Sukey and me. Kempton goes out taking his briefcase and laptop with him. Five minutes later he’s back. “Right, time to go.” He takes hold of Sukey’s hand and pulls her upright.
