I'm about to answer her, but before even opening her mouth we see that Dulce has finished going down the stairs.
"I'm here!" says the little girl, smiling.
"Good morning," Marisa greets and Dulce returns the greeting, sitting down in her place.
"Yum!" Hot cakes! My favorite “the little girl laughs when she notices what we are going to have for breakfast. And I smile when I see her take a hot cake and put Dulce de leche on it. Look at food as if it were a wonder of the universe. And that is fun.
I eat my breakfast in silence, watching them.
When we finish breakfast, it's my turn to wash the dishes, so I do that while Marisa does Dulce's hair to go to school.
"We're leaving, Bi," Dulce greets me and leaves the house, carrying her backpack on wheels.
