Somehow, she can’t say goodbye to ­Mac. She just can’t. When the last chain has been unmoored from the salty old tug, ­Dany is standing on the dock, ­Antoine beside her. He’s put his hand on her shoulder – but it doesn’t feel like he’s reassuring her. No, it’s more like he doesn’t trust her not to jump on board at the last second, and so he’s standing here, holding her down. The engine is rumbling, and the little tug is ready to go.
