"Keep your bows at the ready." She looked down at Gryph to see him snuggled into Snarl, fast asleep. "Time to go," she said.
The two Orcs silently crept forward, their weapons at the ready. In the distance, the princess had begun loading her crossbow while her two guards stood nearby, watching.
Hayley waited until her rangers were halfway to their target, then began moving forward. Her bow was nocked, her string half-drawn, ready to let fly with an arrow at a moment"s notice.
