"You know, I"d love to see the museum. Why don"t Angela and I walk there with you? It"s a brilliant morning to explore, don"t you agree, Angela?"
Haley took everybody by surprise, even her cousin. They had finished their coffee and pastries and were getting ready to leave. Kathy and Cordelia needed to get back to the museum and were saying their goodbyes when Haley jumped in.
"Er, sure. That sounds like a great idea." Angela"s mouth had dropped, and it took her a few moments before she answered. "Do you want to call Bernardo?"
Haley gave her cousin a look that spoke volumes. Even her posture seemed more secure: she stood straight and tossed her hair defiantly before she answered. "No, I think this morning is a girls’ morning. I"m sure he can find something to do to occupy himself."
