Morgan took a bite of her second peanut butter cookie and reached out to grab another journal. She was on her second cup of coffee and she was working on the third journal as she sat on the floor in front of the fireplace in the library. Jenny had been right; the seawater had chilled her to the bone, and it took more than a hot shower to warm herself. She had read many of the journals since she had returned to Pearl Island and knew there"d been no secrets within them that would help her. So now she was working on the journals she had not read.
