I had Colby tell Liam and the others that I took off with most my pack. He covered for me by telling them it was the safest time for us to leave.

I had no idea if it was safest time to leave. It seemed reasonable since Rosie's pack was half destroyed and they were no longer under attack. There wasn't any reason for us to stick around.
