There was a loud knock on Jordan's door... Our door? That still sounds too weird to say just yet.
Jordan went to answer it. I saw Baine peek his head in. He saw me and walked right past Jordan. I don't think it was out of disrespect. I think he was just urgent to find me. "I was hoping you would still be in here. Jack linked me. Colby and Gabby are with him in his room. He says we need to get down there immediately."
I could tell by the look on his face that he was holding something back. I just didn't dare ask. "Okay, let's go!"
Jordan shouted behind me. "Wait up. I'll come too."
I should've expected him to tag along. It may be out of jealousy, or it may be that he was just as curious as us in where they had wandered off to.
