Chapter 18

Gia’s POV

I get off of Nathan’s lap and start pacing. This subject has always made me uneasy and restless. I don’t know if it’s because I don’t remember much about it or if it’s because I was kept in the dark a lot or because it completely flipped my whole world upside down.

Nathan is watching me intently from the couch.

“I can tell you what I know but I’m not completely sure what is true and what isn’t. I don’t remember a whole lot for that time. I was three years old when it happened.”

Nathan nods his head for me to continue.

“There was a party or gathering of some sort, I believe it was an alpha meeting so I was left with a nanny in my parents quarters of the castle. My parents were down in the dining with everyone from the visiting packs.

A few hours into the night my mother had tried to mind link my nanny to check in and couldn’t reach her so my father sent a few of his men to check on us.

My nanny was found brutally slaughtered in my nursery, I was told she had to have put up a good fight due to the way she was found. I don’t remember her much but I wish I did. She gave her life for me.”

Her name was Cici and I remember her smell and she always made me feel happy. She also made the best cookies.

“I was no where to be found, my scent was gone and there were no other scents either. The cameras had been tampered with and the trace was dead. My uncle Benny thinks there was a mole in the pack who helped someone get me out.”

“What was the motive? Where they holding you over the kings had for ransom?”

“No, my parents hadn’t heard from the kidnappers the whole week I was gone. My mother believes I was taken to be held captive and bred when I came of age.”

“I understand the royal blood is deemed as valuable but you really think someone would go through all that trouble?”

“You can’t forget that I’m not only a hybrid of a royal who is also a power alpha and high priestess but I am also a blessed wolf. I have powers and I was told I can get more at any time. Our children will be blessed as well, We are both alphas by blood and they will inherit some of my powers as well.”

My grandmother told me I was blessed by not only the elder of my mothers coven but also the moon goddess herself.

“So they believe you were going to be sold or held by your captor?”

“We aren’t sure. I was held captive in the same place for a week.”

“How did you get out?”

“I don’t remember. I remember being scared and hungry. I wondered were my parents were and it felt like I was there forever, I don’t remember sleep much. Then I remember being embraced by fur and waking up in a forest. And that’s it.”

“That’s odd, your parents haven’t told you anything else? Surely they have investigated more.”

“No one of the guards found me walking around near pack territory and I was taken directly to my mother coven and nursed by to health. A few weeks like is when the plan to hide me with my aunt and uncle came into play. The rest is history.”

“Maybe we should confront your parents at the ball tomorrow. I’ll have my men investigate more as well. I want to what we are up against. I’ll keep you safe as all cost.”

Nathan walks over to me and wraps me in a hug.

“I’m not scared not anymore. I know how to protect myself and with your help I know I’ll be safe. But I do want to know who was behind it and why.”

“We will figure it out Princess. No one is going to mess with you or our future children” I lean up and kiss him tenderly. When we pull away Nathan’s eye glaze over for a moment.

“My mom is upset we didn’t stay until they arrived. I told her we could meet up tomorrow before we go to the ball.”

I nod my head and lean into Nathan’s chest. He already feels like home to me. He runs his hands through my hair and sends shivers over me.

“I was thinking that next weekend we can have your Luna ceremony, is that ok with you?”

“That’s fine with me. But do you think you could talk to your mom for me? I don’t know a whole lot about being a Luna or werewolf laws really.”

My uncertainty has slipped away. I don’t know if it’s from being in Nathan’s arm that’s reassuring me but I know I’ll be a good Luna and can lead a pack. I wanted to learn everything I can to be the best I can.

Nathan lift my chin so that my eyes meets his

“Everyone is going to love you, and I know my mom will do everything she can to help you. I have no doubt you’ll be an amazing Luna.”

Nathan kisses me so deeply and passionately, it’s a simple kiss but I can feel all his love for me that I can’t help the tears from falling over. No one has ever kissed me like that, no one has showed me a love like that.

“Baby what’s wrong?” I’m sure he feels my tears and sadness but I can’t talk, I need him, I need to feel his love.

I grab his face and pull him to me and kiss him with everything that I am, everything that I have. No one knows how badly I want to solve the mystery behind my kidnapping, and I didn’t even have to ask him for help, he brought it up and he offered help.

Nathan picks me up and walks me over to our bed and lays me down not breaking our kiss. Once he lays me down he breaks away to take my clothes off and I do the same to him.

He leans down and kisses along my neck and collar bone, I run my hands over his body. He takes his mouth and kisses and lick over my breast and suckling on my buds, giving them equal attention.

I moan out his name and run my hands through his hair. He leans up and gives me a quick kiss before kiss down my body until he reaches my core.

It feels very intimate having his face directly with my core, Nathan is the first person to have pleased me this way and it felt absolutely amazing, I’ve been craving it ever since.

He kisses the inside of each thigh before moving to my slit, his tongue working his magic over my bud as he slides a finger in. I buck my hips forward and arch my back hoping to create more friction. I feel the pressure building quickly as Nathan tongue and fingered relentlessly work my core.

“Please Nate”

I hear a small growl come from Nathan that vibrates my core, he takes my bud into his mouth and sucks fiercely.

I explode in that moment screaming his name. This is exactly what I needed. I start coming to my senes again after finding my release just as Nathan enters me quickly. His thrust are hard and fast. Ours moans and groans filling the room.

He leans down and kisses me still meeting every thrust.

“Harder love.”

Nathan takes my legs and presses them on each side of me and I scream his name again. His thrust are so much deeper, filling me completely. I feel the pressure once more, my legs starting to stiffen, my core tightening.

Next thing I know Nathan sinks his canines into my marking spot, I scream in pleasure as my release spills over, I feel him sealing the mark with his tongue. In return I do the same to Nathan as he finds his release. Marking him as mine as he scream my name. I seal my mark with on him with my tongue.

Both of us lay in bed breathing heavy

“Wow” I say when I feel I can speak.

“Ditto”

“That was out of this world.”

“You’re mine now and nothing or no one will ever come between us.”

“I love you” I say without thinking, but I mean it.

“I love you Princess.”

The feeling of needing him overcomes me again and we spend the rest of the night sharing our love and passion for each other.

This is the cure I need.
