HEART'S COMPLEXITIES.

CHAPTER 10:ALL IN ONE NIGHT.

Brittany was in the washroom,still wondering what exactly she was thinking,asking Leaah to stay.

The more she thought about it,the more embarrassed she felt.

*why do I keep embarrassing myself in her presence!" she muttered to herself,still bathing.

Leah sat on the couch,head down,staring seriously at the floor like it had some hidden secret or something.

She was immensed in her world so much that she didn't notice when Brittany walked out of the bathroom.

"Uh" Brittany cleared her throat,trying to get Leah's attention.

Leah slowly looked up,her eyes a mix of love and the usual calm,cold gaze.

She smiled softly

"That was fast" she said

Brittany looked at her,dumbfounded,she had spent more than 20 minutes in the bathroom and it was fast??

"How so?" She asked

"Well I thought you'd stay a little longer in there" Leah shrugged

"I'm not going for a pagent,am i?" Brittany asked,jokingly

"Who knows what you do in your dreams?" Leah teased,smiling

Brittany's lips twitched as she looked at Leah,her gaze soft and seductive.

Leah noticed this and her smile deepened

"You know,if you keep staring at me that way,you might just end up being the dinner tonight" Leah teased,got up and calmly headed towards the door.

Brittany stood rooted to the spot as she replied Leah's teasing words.

After about half an hour,Brittany got downstairs to the living room where Leah sat,legs crossed,glasses on,her hair slightly messy and the first two buttons of her shirt undone as she focused on her laptop,her hands flying across the keyboard with practiced ease.

She looked up upon noticing Brittany's presence,closing her laptop,she ran her fingers through her hair,looking slightly frustrated.

"Is there a problem?" Brittany asked softly as she neared Leah

"There isn't" she smiled but the look of fatigue was evident on her face. She looked visibly tired.

"You're tired" Brittany said,sitting down on the chair opposite Leah

"Not really" Leah said in a soft voice

"If you say so" Brittany didn't press on.

Leah looked at her,wondering if it was the right time to ask her the one question she had so badly wanted to ask her for years.

As she was contemplating on whether or not to ask her,Brittany suddenly sighed

"My dad started abusing me when I was ten years,he would do it in my mother's presence and my mom did nothing about it,in fact,it didn't seem to bother her" She said randomly

"There was no one i could run to except Luke,he was always there.

He would comfort me when I needed it,stand up for me when I was bullied in school and when I couldn't afford to go to college,his father care of it,I started living with him since I was 16,my father refused to pay for my college fees because I stopped letting him abuse me and even now,Luke's father still foots my fees,he is the father I always wanted while my dad? I would have still been getting threatening messages from him if you hadn't interfered,thank you" Brittany said,looking at Leah with moist eyes

Leah could feel her eyes getting wet as she looked at Brittany,feeling a mix of emotions.

"Why didn't you get him arrested?" Leah asked,she was certain that it wasn't difficult to get that done because she had done it under a day without much stress so she was confused

"We tried but he works there and he has a lot of connections so the case was put aside,I'm still wondering how you were able to get him locked up,so fast even" Brittany said, in awe of Leah

"I am not so small" Leah smiled gently

"I can tell,your aura alone says it all and then the way you handled him under such short time? that speaks volumes" Brittany replied

Leah smiled,feeling smug

"Come over' Leah said in a somewhat commanding tone

Brittany walked over,as if compelled by Leah.

Leah grabbed her wrist the moment she got close enough.

It wasn't a strong grip,just firm enough to keep Brittany from moving.

Looking at Brittany,Leah's gaze was filled with several emotions as a cold smile appeared on her lips,one that made Brittany shudder.

"Uhh"

"Shh' Leah placed her hands on her lips,gesturing for her to keep quiet,she pulled her gently closer to her,making Brittany fall into her arms.

She whispered softly beside Brittany's ear

"Let me love you,Bri"

"Let me protect you"

"Let me exhaust everything i own on you" she said slowly,each sentence firm and decisive as if it wouldn't even matter if she didn't agree.

"Leah" Brittany called out softly

"Brittany" Leah replied,her voice filled with love and affection

"Be my girlfriend' Leah said,It didn't sound like she was waiting for a response or a rejection,it sounded commanding and decisive but Leah was in fact,waiting for a response from Brittany.

She didn't want to waste any more time,she wanted to be there for her every time as from then on.

"Will you?" Leah asked,this time sounding more gentle and less commanding.

Brittany didn't respond but instead,sealed her lips with Leah's as her hands went to unbotten the rest of her buttons.

Leah was stunned,she didn't expect that response.

In the cold room,Leah's body was heating up as she kissed Brittany fiercely,like she would devour her at any moment.

Brittany pulled away briefly,looked at Leah with a smile

"Yes,I will" she said,panting as she pressed her lips against Leah's again.

Leah's hands encircled her waist as she pulled her closer,as if wanting to merge with her.

They kissed each other hungrily,hands roaming,clothes flying across the room as the temperature in the room rose.

Brittany's breasts was in Leah's mouth as she moaned softly,her hands caressing Leah's body,her lips on her neck.

Leah had a strong masculine scent that intoxicated Brittany,she tasted like alcohol mixed with strawberry.It made Brittany want her more.

In the heat of the moment,as Brittany's hands were about sliding into Leah's undergarment,Leah's phone rang.

Leah gave a long,exasperated sigh as she pulled away,still trying to catch her breath,she looked at Brittany with passion filled eyes

"I have to take this,sorry" she said in a shaky voice as her breathing was uneven.

"Hello" Leah said into in the phone,sounding irritated

"Are you busy?" a soft,sexy,feminine voice was heard from the other end of the phone.

Leah froze,her breathing hurried,her eyes losing the light that had been there.

Brittany noticed her odd expression and was puzzled as she had never seen leah look so unfocused.

"What do you want?" Leah said,regaining her cold voice as her expression soon turned back to its usual coldness.

"Why? I can't call again?" The person said,her voice sounding more seductive

"Shut it" Leah snapped,irritated.

"You would hate me if you try calling again" she added in a dangerous tone,hung up and blocked the number before tossing the phone aside with anger evident in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" Brittany asked,concerned

"Just a minor issue" leah casually said as she looked at Brittany,her gaze returning back to the gentle one Brittany was getting used to.

It scared Brittany how easily Leah could switch expressions.

Leah could guess what she was thinking of but didn't ask about it as she had no answer to the unsaid question anyway.

"Sorry about that' Leah said as the silence was getting awkward.

"It's okay" Brittany replied

"So uh the food?" Leah asked,remembering that the food they had planned to make was put aside for a while..

At least it would liven up the atmosphere again she thought as buttoned her shirt,arranged her messy hair and got up.

Brittany did the same and followed her into the kitchen

"Leah" Brittany suddenly called out

"Yes?" Leah replied,turning to look at her

"You have a nice name" She blurted out

Leah laughed

"Thanks" she replied and turned around

"So uh what are we making?" Brittany asked,not sure why she was talking so much.

"Guess" Leah smiled

"Uhh i don't know" Brittany said

"That's why I said you should guess"

"Use the things we bought to try" Leah said calmly

"Umm i really don't know" Brittany said after looking through the bags that contained the ingredients

"If I told you that I also don't know would you believe me?" Leah said,laughing

"Well,do you know?" Brittany asked,also laughing

"Nope"

"I was really just putting things inside,for some reason,I didn't think the cooking would be done so I just picked anything" she replied,still laughing

"So what did you think we would be doing if not cooking?" Brittany laughed,not realizing how bad of an idea it was to ask Leah that.

Leah calmly walked behind her,slowly kissing her neck with her hands around her waist.

she whispered

"What if I was thinking about this,mm?" she said as her hands slid inside Brittany's short,gently touching her in places that made her unable to reason properly.

She moaned,gently tugging at Leah's roaming hand,trying to get her to stop.

Leah pushed Brittany's hand aside and let her other hand under Brittany's shirt,caressing her breasts,not gently this time..

"Uhh Leah" a soft moan left Brittany's mouth as Leah continued to touch her in the right places,she was fully immensed in the moment as she let Leah touch her wherever she felt like.

Lifting her up,Leah walked out of the kitchen,her mouth still on Brittany's breasts as she took huge strides out of the kitchen to the living room.

"Uhh" Brittany moaned more as Leah sucked on her breasts,gently biting her n*****s as Brittany moaned even louder,fueling Leah's urges...

After more than two hours of 'exercise' Brittany was exhausted,her head was on Leah's chest as she soon quickly fell asleep.

Leah looked down at her with a smile

"I love you" she whispered and kissed her lips lightly and turned off the lights,leaving Brittany to lie on her chest as she hugged her closer.

This might just be my best impulsive decision yet. she muttered to herself with a smile as she closed her eyes....
