HEART'S COMPLEXITIES.

CHAPTER 8: UNCONTROLLABLE URGES 1.

It was past 7pm and Leah was already waiting outside Brittany's house,trying to calm her beating heart and preparing herself for the night.

Brittany on the other hand,was wondering if she had been stood up,if she should give Leah a call or if she should just give up and cry herself to bed.

Luke looked at her,secretly hoping Leah would want to cancel but he tried to hide how he felt,he too was shocked by his own selfish thoughts and he tried to dismiss the thoughts.

Both Leah and Brittany were conflicted by feelings that were uncalled for.

After some time,Leah decided to give Brittany a call to ask if she was ready.

The second Brittany saw Leah's name appear on her phone screen,her eyes immediately lit up but the light soon disappeared as she started to think that Leah was calling to cancel their plans,she suddenly didn't want to pick up but she answered nevertheless as she knew that Leah would definitely not call more than once.

"Um hey" Brittany said,trying to sound as calm as she could be

"You ready?" Leah asked,sounding as confident as ever but inside,she felt so nervous as she felt that Brittany would cancel their plans given that she hadn't called or even texted since.

Brittany's eyes lit up as she looked at Luke who looked slightly disappointed but she didn't take notice of the odd look he wore on his face as she was too excited to be bothered anyway.

"Yeah,I am" she said,a little enthusiastic this time.

Leah smiled wildly,"I'll be there shortly" she replied

"Okay then" Brittany said with a broad smile

"She's coming over soon" she exclaimed,talking to Luke, forgetting to hang up.

"Yeah I would" Leah chuckled and hung up,feeling extremely smug

"oh gosh" Brittany said,almost yelling

"What's wrong?" Luke was shocked by her sudden change in tone

"She heard that!" She said,burying her head in her hands,embarrassed

Luke laughed loudly

"It's not that big of a deal" he gave a teasing smile

"what if she didn't even hear you" he added

"She did hear me and in fact,replied with a laugh!" Brittany retorted,feeling more embarrassed as she thought about what had happened

"Relax" Luke said,still laughing.

she glared at him.

"And what's so funny?" he stopped laughing briefly then continued,louder this time

She rolled her eyes,her face getting red and hot as she couldn't stop thinking of Leah's soft and seductive voice.

She was still thinking about it when the doorbell suddenly rang.

They both exchanged looks,wondering who it could be

She didn't think it would be Leah because it hadn't even been up to five minutes since the call ended and her house was a half an hour drive at best so how could she be here,she thought but got up to open the door nonetheless.

On getting to the door,she saw Leah standing outside,dressed in a black,well ironed trouser,a white collar shirt,a black shiny shoe and a long,black tie,her hair styled so perfectly,even better than it looked earlier that day,she looked way taller and attractive in a cooperate outfit.

Brittany looked up at her,stunned and speechless

"Um should we head out now?" Leah asked in a charmimg voice as she stared at the wide mouthed Brittany who was dressed in a short black dress,with long heels,a black purse and her long black hair left to fall over her shoulder,she looked so sexy that Leah couldn't stop staring

"I..uh..hey" Brittany stammered

"well yeah,let's get going" she added,still looking up at Leah intently.

Leah was way taller than Brittany,so much that Brittany's head barely reached her shoulders.

She felt small and intimidated by her towering height and domineering aura.

Brittany finally regained a little composure as she smiled sweetly and walked out with Leah following closely behind her.

Leah couldn't help but stare at her ass as she walked,they looked so tempting,more so in the short dress she had on.

Brittany could feel someone staring at her but she chose not to turn back in order to stay sane.

After walking for a while,Brittany was starting to wonder if Leah had taken a cab over or something because she couldn't quite locate any car that looked like Leah's.

That was when she realized that she hadn't really felt anyone following her for a while so she turned back,Leah wasn't walking alongside her obviously,she was leaning against a car a few meters away,it was a black Porsche that shone under the night light,making her look like a classy business man's son as she stood next to the car,smiling calmly.

"Finally noticed,huh?" she spoke in a voice that carried a certain charm Brittany couldn't resist

"That's..that's your car?" Brittany said as she walked towards Leah,awestruck

Leah laughed,"Why are you surprised?" she spoke calmly in that same voice that carried authority even when she said the most casual thing,she still sounded commanding and intimidating to Brittany.

"I've never seen you drive this" she replied,still wondering what exactly Leah's job was

"that's because i got this newly"she smiled

"And when did you even stop?" Brittany asked,feeling like she was really oblivious to her surrounding

"A few minutes ago" Leah replied,still smiling

"You really need to be more vigilant" she added with a soft chuckle that made Brittany want to kiss her there and then.

"I uhh..well maybe" Brittany said,her face turning red as she blushed

"You're cute" Leah suddenly said after a while,deepening Brittany's blush.

"um thank you" she smiled,looking down.

Leah chuckled to herself and walked towards the passenger seat of the car,opening the door,she gestured for Brittany to go in.

"Thanks.." she blushed,surprised to see this side of Leah.

She felt like she had misjudged Leah's personality for the longest of time.

she had always assumed Leah was a cold,heartless person who didn't feel things and she didn't even know why she had thought so.

Maybe it was her usual cold and stern expression or her dismissive character but something about her seemed to push people away even when her beauty attracted them.

Leah smiled and walked over to the driver's seat,getting in with ease,she fastened her seatbelt,inserted the keys and started the car.

With one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the handrest,she looked really hot.

Brittany tried to stop staring but her eyes seemed to like what they were seeing as she looked on with awestruck eyes.

Leah saw her with her side eye,smiled

she opened her mouth,as if wanting to say something but decided against it as she turned her focus back on the road.

The drive was quiet,with only the sound of the wind and the music being heard.

It wasn't an awkward silence,it was one that was enjoyable.

"Uhh haven't we passed your house?" Brittany asked as she realized that they were heading towards the center of the city,where Leah's other house,which Brittany had no idea of,was.

"And how do you know my house?" Leah smiled

"Well um everyone does,it's not really regarded as your house but rather,a den" Brittany said,not noticing how Leah's expression darkened.

With furrowed brows,Leah asked in a displeased tone,"and why's that?" She really didn't mind if others thought she was some heartless creature but Brittany was different,she cared about what she thought of her.

"Well you know,you're Leah" she shrugged

"hmm" Leah scoffed in response

"So you didn't answer me,where the h*ll are you taking me to?" Brittany asked,puzzled

"You'll see" Leah smiled.

....

"And..here we are" Leah said as she drove into the large compound

:Waittt" Brittany exclaimed

"This house is yours also?"

"Yes" Leah replied as she drove into the garage where her other cars where parked

"All these are yours alone??" Brittany said again,this time,completely floored

Leah laughed, "well yeah"

"Wait how old are you?" Brittany asked as she was too stunned to think

"Eighteen,why?" Leah asked,wondering what her age had to do with anything they'd said

"Oh"Brittany replied,trying to sound calm but she was beyond astonished,the compound alone was spacious and looked like it belonged to royalty,then the variety of cars parked in the garage made her even more curious about what Leah did for a living.

The car came to a halt and Leah got down,Brittany doing the same.

As they walked towards the huge building,Brittany suddenly asked

"You stay here alone"

"I don't stay here,I come here sometimes" Leah corrected

"Oh so it's not yours?" Brittany asked,finally heaving a sigh of relief

"it is,i just don't like to live alone but sometimes I want to be alone so I bought this" she explained.

"Does Brian also come here?" she suddenly asked

"No,he doesn't know about this house" she replied

"ohh" Brittany felt smug,being the only person Leah had brought to her personal house,of course she was overjoyed.

Upon entering the house,Brittany was astonished by the interior design,it didn't look like what she'd imagined but she loved it.

Music was playing in the background,the lights were dimly lit,above her head,there was a visual representation of stars that looked as though they were real,it was truly amazing.

"Really,What do you do for work?" Brittany couldn't help but ask

"Just a little writing and other little things" she shrugged like it was no big deal

"Okay,just how rich are your parents?" Brittany asked.

Leah's expression changed slightly as her eyes gradually regained its coldness

"they're not rich" she said casually

Brittany noticed her expression but didn't want to ask if she didn't tell her willingly.

They both walked up the long stairs to the floor Leah had reserved for gaming

"Do you play video games?" Leah asked as they walked along the long hallway that had several doors leading to different rooms

"Not really" she replied

"That's no problem,I'll teach you " Leah said,smiling

They finally stopped in front of a door,Leah pushed open thr door,revealing a huge room filled with laptops,screens and other gaming equipments.

it looked like an arcade.

"So,let's get started" Leah said as she strolled further into the room,taking off her tie and shoes,she looked towards Brittany who took the hint and took off her shoes also,walking towards Leah who was already setting up the game they were going to play.

"It involves fighting,you in?" Leah asked

"Sure"

"Be free" Leah smiled

"Uh okay" Brittany said,though she felt so nervous,she was starting to sweat even in the cold room and as she was fighting with herself internally,Leah stood behind her,placing her hands around her waist with the game pad in hand,she looked at Brittany with those seductive eyes saying,

"Aren't you going to hold it?" she said,referring to the game pad she was holding

"Okay umm" Brittany's heart pounded against her chest,her mind racing and her body reacting in ways it normally wouldn't.

The heat from Leah's body wasn't making it any better as she spoke softly beside her ear,telling her what to press and what not to.

Brittany wasn't the least bit interested in the game but she was rather,interested in the gamer..

After some minutes of Leah saying things that Brittany paid no attention to,she was about to remove her hands that encircled Brittany's waist but without thinking,Brittany stopped her,turning back to face her,she touched the game pad in her hands,her fingers slightly brushing against Leah's hands.

She had no idea what she was doing but she was sure that she wasn't acting with her brain at all!

Leah looked at her,stunned.

Brittany saw that she didn't seem to be against her advances so she slowly took the game pad from Leah's hands,gently tossing it aside,she looked at Leah,her heart racing,her hands moving at will,her brain lagging and her lips inching towards Leah's.....
