After about an hour drive,Leah finally got to the cafe Brittany's father had mentioned earlier.

Walking into the cafe,the smell of coffee and pastries filled the air,people were seated with their partners,some alone.

Leah walked further into the cafe and spotted a middle aged man that looked undeniably attractive,he had eyes that shone as bright as stars,it reminded her of Brittany so she guessed the man was Brittany's father.

She texted Luke to send her the number but he refused so she had to get it herself and after some time,she got the number and dialed it.

"Hello" a deep voice could be heard,it was him

Leah thought to herself,hung up and walked right up to him,with a dangerous aura emitting from her and a cold,sinister smile on her face.

On getting to his front,Leah stopped in her tracks,gave a cold smirk and said

"It's you?" She scoffed

The man looked up slowly,his eyes liting up,as he was stunned by her aura and beauty but he regained his composure,frowning he said

"You are?" Leah's smile deepened,looking all the more menacing

"That's not important,what is though,is who are you " She spoke with an intimidating tone,eyes staring coldly at him,as if she could see through him,he was getting frightened.

"And why.." before he could complete his sentence,Leah grabbed his collar with little to no strength but her grip sure made him scared out of his wits. She had a terrifyingly strong grip

"Do you know Brittany?" Leah looked at him with cold eyes that had a hint of a murderous intent,he wasn't sure who she was but he knew that she could definitely k*ll him if he did not cooperate so he nodded,fearfully

"Speak" she said,not so loud,just enough to send shivers down his spine

"Ye..yes" he stammered

"You are waiting for her,right?" She smiled coldly,thanking God that he wasn't difficult

"Yes"he replied,still shaking slightly but not as much as before because he thought he would leave unharmed if he answered her but boy was he wrong..

"Great" the little light that flickered across eyes before was soon replaced by an undisguised fury that went to show just how pissed she was. He was shocked by the murderous look in her eyes as he did not remember offending anyone of her kind,he wouldn't make such mistake. He thought to himself.

Leah lifted him off his chair by his collar,dragging him out of the cafe. He struggled for sometime but gave up after she sent a slap across his face,turning it red instantly.

She threw him into the backseat of her car and hit him on the neck,immediately making him unconscious.

"Get some guys to take care of someone for me" Leah said in a deep voice,looking towards the backseat,she smirked as she sped towards the outskirts of the town.

"Bri!" Luke calls out the moment Brittany opens her eyes.

"Calm down" Brian whispers

Brittany rubs her eyes,trying to adjust to the bright light in the ward as she tries to sit up on the bed,she feels a sharp pain in her lower abdomen,chest and head. She winces in pain

"Lie down first bri" Luke says with a worried look

"What's happ.." before she could complete her statement,her face went pale from fear,upon remembering something. Brian notices this change and asks,

"What's wrong?"

"My phone.." Brittany trembles in fear

"Not yet Bri,get some rest" Luke tries to calm her

"Hand me my phone!" She yells

Brian and Luke exchange glances before handing the phone over to Brittany.

"Did you answer any.." before she could finish what she was about to say,a very familiar scent fills the room,gaining everyone's attention,they all looked towards the door to see Leah standing calmly with hands crossed,in an all black outfit,a glove and a mask that was also black.

"Hello" she smiles calmly,waving at Brittany

Brittany looks around,confused

"Where did you go?" Brian asks immediately,sensing something off about her smile

"Just a little errand" she casually said,taking of her gloves

"Umm he..hey" Brittany manages to say,though still in shock

"How are you feeling?" Leah looks at Brittany,with a soft smile like they'd been close friends for a while,it amused Brian who had a rough idea of where Leah might have gone to

'Why are you here?" Brittany asks instead

"Nothing much" Leah replies,still smiling in a way that made Brittany feel really scared.

"You needed your phone,right? What for?" Leah asks,immediately reminding Brittany of the pressing issue at hand

"Right! Did anyone answer any call on my phone?" She asks,anxious

"I did" Leah replies

"What?" Brittany was getting upset

"Relax,he is being taken care of" Leah says

"What?" Luke and Brittany exclaims at the same time,each wearing a look of fright

Leah laughs,"it's crazy how that thing scares you two"

"I don't understand,what is going on?" Brittany asks

"Focus on getting well,after that,we will talk" Leah says,standing up

"As for now,don't worry about anything,not even him" she added before walking out of the ward with her perfume lingering in the air

"Listen to her,I'm sure she would explain later" Brian smiles awkwardly,leaving Brittany more confused.

"Um I'll get going" Brian says and excuses himself

"Get some rest,I'll figure out what's going on" Luke says with a sigh

"Mmm" Brittany humms.

She didn't know why but she felt completely reassured that nothing would happen as long as Leah had said so,it was unknown to her why she had so much faith and trust in Leah but she did and she was going to wait for Leah to be back.
