The Death of Old "ME"

TWO: Name

~MARK~

We enter the room and thankfully the professor is not yet in here. "We aren't late," she said while smiling. Wait she's smiling? She knows how to smile? "Seems like the screaming lady knows how to smile," I said looking at her. She just look at me as if she wants to kill me and then we just walked to our seats. I sit on my chair and she's still standing, looking at her seat, there is someone sitting in there one of the annoying girls in our class. "Excuse me, that's my seat," screaming lady said and the annoying girl just smirk, she's ugly though. "I decide who sits here, and that is me i***t," the annoying girl said. I just watch them and waiting for screaming lady to said something but she didn't say anything and walk towards the empty seat. Wow this girl is something, she always talk back to me but she can't say a word to this annoying girl.

I stand up and supposed to walk towards the screaming lady but then the professor walks in and I just sit again. The girl beside me is looking at me and whispering something to her friends, she's annoying. I get pissed and stand up and planning to go out of this classroom.

"Is there any problem Mr. Tuan?" asked by our professor. "I'm having a headache sir, Can I go to the clinic to get some medicine?" I reason out. "Okay. Do you need any help?" the professor asked with concern. "I can help him s-" "no I'm okay, I can walk myself to the clinic" I cut the annoying girl. The screaming lady laugh silently and the girl looks annoyed. I smile when I get out of the room but still annoyed in the fact that the screaming lady didn't try to get her seat.

-at the clinic

I'm sleeping in the clinic until I got a call from my mom.

Mark: Hello?

Mom: Mark, I'm already at the house.

Mark: So?

Mom: Aren't you coming with me?

Mark: I rather be alone.

Mom: But mar-

I hang up. "Seriously you wanted me to chose between you and dad?" I asked looking at the screen of the phone. "It's already lunch time but I don't have the appetite," I sigh and get up off the bed and walk to the rooftop where I first saw screaming lady.

After the monster get out of the room, the professor continue the lecture and boom it's already lunch break.

The event this morning made me lose my appetite so I just go to the roof top and just look at the sky thinking. "First thing in this morning someone came to the house telling me she already bought it and then Tracy gets my seat." I sigh and sit on the floor while my head and back is laying on the wall. I don't really have any energy to fight Tracy this morning knowing I don't have no one nor anything. "Where am I going to live?" I asked the air. I just close my eyes and trying to remove all the things that is going on my mind.

"ahhhhhhhhh!" "yahhhhhhhh!" I scream not because I am annoyed but because I am startled. Well now I'm annoyed. "What's your problem? You son of cookie monster" I shout but whispering the cookie monster part. "Son of an evil?" emphasizing the word 'evil'. I'm going to answer when he open his mouth again. "Yes, I'm a son of evils," he seriously said. "Yah, are you okay?" I asked with concern. "If I'm not what are you going to do?" he asked while facing me. I just look at him and said nothing, I keep quiet because I don't know how to comfort a person.

"Don't tell me you are worried? You must be kidding?" he said while wearing his signature smirk. "So what?" I said annoyed. "I'm just waking you up with your technique...screaming?" he said while laughing. "yahhhh you're crazy!" he keeps laughing. I really hate this son of cookie monster. "why do you need to shout like that? you startled me monster!" he just laugh.

"Let's eat it's getting late," he said. "You eat alone, I don't want to eat." "why?" he asked. "I don't need to answer any of your question monster!" "Chill I'm just asking. I'm just being nice here" he said. "can't you talk without that annoying smirk of yours?" "scared of falling with my smirk?" he confidently said. "in your dreams!" I said and walk towards the stairs. "where are you going screaming lady?" "I thought we're going to eat?" I said "okay" he said following me "It's on you... I don't have money so yeahhh" "whatever" he said. Free lunch here we go!!!

We go to the cafeteria and while walking everyone are looking at us. It reminds me that this son of cookie monster is kinda' famous in here. I just sigh and walk. "what is that for?" I looked at him with a 'what do you mean' look. "that sigh. what is that for?" he clarify. "nothing I'm just hungry since I didn't have breakfast this morning. So go order the food, I'm hungry." I reason out. "lose appetite, aren't you?" he said and just walk to get our food. Seriously this girls might be crazy, they are looking at me as if I stole their loving Mr. Tuan.

Son of cookie monster goes to our table and put down the foods he ordered. I get the burger first and open its wrap. When I attempt to bite it the monster open his mouth. "name?" he said. I look at him a little bit confused for the reason that I don't know what he means by 'name'. "I bought you a meal, I do deserve to know your name. Don't I?" upon hearing that I came back to reality and realized that he was not there when we introduced ourselves in the class so he doesn't know my name and it is same for me. I don't know his name, I only know that he is Mr. Tuan since the professor scolded us yesterday. "Mine is Mark and yours?" "Grace, Grace Francisco" I told him. "Screaming lady is better" he said. "What ever son of cookie monster!" I said.

After that we just eat and go to class, no one talks between the two of us. We just keep silent and mind our own world. Upon entering the classroom, Tracy is still on my seat, not in the mood to argue I look for an empty seat and sit in there. Everyone got shock when Mar- monster sit next to me. "Mark, you sit here," said by Tracy in a flirty tone. Monster just ignored it and put his headphone on and take a nap. Being pissed, Tracy left the room then the room filled with silence.

-time skipped

The class ended and everyone left the classroom even the monster left the room. It seems like he has something important to do since he left before anyone else. Everyone was gone and here I am on my seat, I don't want to go home. "Where am I going to live?" I sigh and walk out of the room for the reason that I need to pack my things on that house.
