Melanie… “I just know this is going to end badly, Faith.” Melanie paced. “My pa called me a half hour ago asking if I had seen Dillion. Do you know what that means?” “No, but I’m sure, miss nervous, that you’re going to tell me”, Faith laid across the bed looking more at her phone annoyed than really listening. “This means he went to talk to Brad, and you know that never goes great. The last time was terrible…” Senior year “The sunset is gorgeous” She mused, snuggling closer to him. “Not as gorgeous as you.” He kissed the top of her head. “It’s so amazing here, your home and land, the beautiful scenery.” “Mel, I think you mean our home and land.” He smiled. “huh?” “With my parents gone now, all this is mine. When we get married three months from now, you’ll be my wife, which makes all this ours.” He laid back on the blanket. “We can camp out here every night or ride out here whenever you want.” The horses weaned. “Bradley…” She sat astride him. “So, when are we heading back, I would say pa and Elisabeth are walking the floor firing mad by now.” She giggled, unbuttoning her shirt. “Later, you’re a tease, you know that.” He reached up, resting his hands on her hips. “I am not,” She licked her lips slowly, “teasing means you have no intention. I have every intention and that is the difference.” She lowered, kissing him thoroughly. It wasn’t too long before he took over and she could feel the wetness through her clothes. He loosened her bra and he groaned when her breast fell into his hands. He pretended to weigh them as if he couldn’t decide which to enjoy first. He was taking his time and that irritated her to the very bone and set her on fire. He knew she was no more than play-doh and he could mold her however he wanted. “Bradley!” Her voice came out a plea which was not how she meant it, she meant to yell at him. He chuckled and made his choice by flicking his tongue against one n****e, then the other before sliding down, removing her belt and kissing her navel. He slid her shorts down and off kissing a path down her long-tanned legs. He pulled her back to her knees in front of him and whispered in her ear “I love you”, Nibbling at her ear, causing a shiver to go straight between her legs. The hues of blue, pink and orange shimmered off her hair, angelic, he thought. He was kissing a path from her ear down her neck when she stopped him. “What… Mel…” He groaned as she went straight to his belt and removed his pants with small pecking kisses slowly over his rock-hard abs. His long shaft jutted free into her hands and she grinned up at him. “My turn, she breathlessly said as she took his tip into her mouth and licked his length.” She wasn’t sure what she was doing but his muscles tensed, so she assumed she was doing something right. She felt his hands gently touch the back of her head and she reached up with one hand to rub his chiseled chest again and she took him as deep as she could. Brad moaned and knew he couldn’t take this much longer. He had never expected her to do this, but he was mighty glad she did. He felt his pivotal moment almost approaching, “Mel I’m gonna…” She took him harder, faster and deeper, pushing his limits. He grabbed her into his arms and began kissing her. “OH My God, Mel”. She giggled against his lips and pushed him back down again to straddle him. She exalted as she took all of him inside her, “I told you it’s my turn” She grinded on him, making him cry out. Their passion grew together, and he couldn’t handle it and he took the initiative again, raising her higher and faster. They groaned and moaned as they pushed each other higher and higher. She rocked with pleasure inside and out. Her climax was epic and hit only moments before his. She felt him shudder beneath her and she collapsed on top of him. “I’m sorry” She sobbed a little while later as he was slipping on his pants. He turned with a crease in his brow, “What in heaven for?” “For you know,” She was buttoning her blouse. “No, I don’t know.” He sat back down, pulling her onto his lap, “Mel, that was amazing. Your amazing.” He nuzzled her. “Really?” She smiled. “Yes, and anytime you get a hankerin’ to do that, you be my guest. He kissed her and they began to fall back on the ground as he caught the sound of hooves approaching, “Mel, get your pants on. We got company,” Sure, as thunder Rode Dillion up fast moving, she didn’t even see his feet hit the ground when a sucker punch sent Bradley across her lap. “Dillion, what are you doing? Stop” Brad shook his head and laughed, “Damn son, you got one hell of a punch.” Dillion rubbed his knuckles, “Yea well, I owe you more than that jerk.” “Really now,” Brad fumed, He was willing to let one go, after all, this was Melanie’s baby brother and the two were extremely close. “I don’t remember ever crossing you.” “You don’t? Perhaps you’d like to answer as to why Mel is out here with you and not home on curfew, which was at ten? And why is she half dressed?” “Dillion, that is none of your business.” Melanie got to her feet, “We are engaged for Christ's sake.” “Engaged ain’t a wedding band to me and pa’s way of thankin’. He could up and leave you tomorrow. You ain’t hitched yet Melanie.” Brad lunged at the boy with that and sent him to the ground. The two rolled around like raging animals trying to find a weakness in the other. “Stop it Please.” She screamed. Brad had him on his back and hit him three maybe four times; she wasn’t sure before he held leave of his senses. “You listen to me good.” He wailed, “Whatever happens between Me and Melanie is our business and I like you just fine but you ain’t gonna hit me or threaten me or claim me something I’m not. I love your sister and I am gonna marry her.” He got up off the boy and turned to face Melanie, who was standing with one hand at her throat and one on her stomach. “You two are stupid.” She insisted, “What is wrong with yawl?” “I’m sorry Mel,” Brad turned to pack their things. “You should be, but Dillion, you had it coming.” She helped him up. Looking at his wounds, “I think you're gonna need stitches… Present “Dillion needed four stitches that night. Luckily for me, he didn’t tell papa he found me half naked. He had just told dad he and Brad got into it about curfews. I think papa always assumed, though, especially after I wound up pregnant.” She was looking at her reflection. “Mel”, Richard cracked open the door. “There are two older ladies in the other room asking to speak to you.” “Older ladies?” She questioned, but got up and straightened her outfit, uselessly, though she was going to look terrible no matter what. Her fan base was large, but she did wonder what made these so special that a late-night meeting was appropriate, it was well after eight. As the door opened, she saw Elisabeth standing, in all her pride and arrogance, standing by the window. The old woman turned as she entered. “Melanie.” She smiled. The woman’s perfume filled the room and brought her back to simpler times. Her smiling was creepy, “Elisabeth, to what do the owe the displeasure.” “Melanie, please, might I have a moment of your time to explain?” She swayed forward in her graceful way. “Explain,” Melanie scoffed, “Yes Elisabeth, explain to me why you kept Bradley from me?” She pointed at her, forcing the woman to step backwards, “Why you kept him out of our children’s lives? Why you tried to have my babies taken away from me?” She threw her hands up in the air, “Oh, yea and why you tried to make me out to be a total w***e to Brad?” “I have tried my entire life to make you like me. That never happens though, does it? Tell me why you have the audacity to come here and ask me to let you explain. After you figure out the answer to all that,” She pointed again, “Why don’t you send me a letter or better yet send it to my attorney!!!” She turned to walk away when she heard Elisabeth groan. “Really your gonna try to fake a…” She saw her complexion was gray as an ash. “Oh My God, Faith, call an ambulance!” Elisabeth reached out, clinging to her, “My chest,” “It’s okay… try not to talk.” Melanie helped her ease back on to the sofa. “Calm down, it’s going to be okay.” “No, I’m sorry Melanie, I can never say sorry enough. Please forgive me.” It seemed to Melanie that the old woman’s eyes rolled to the back of her head. “Oh, my good Lord,” Ruby exclaimed, “It’s not supposed to be like this.” “Elisabeth, Look at me.” Melanie sobbed, “Please, Elisabeth, speak to me.” Melanie began to cry.
