Elma POV I stared blankly at the silver blade pressed against my throat. I expected to feel terror. I expected my wolf to thrash, for my heart to beat fast, or for some survival instinct to kick in. But there was nothing. I was just so incredibly tired. Lady Anna’s eyes narrowed. She didn't like my silence. She pressed the hilt harder. The razor-sharp edge broke my skin.
