CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Late Wednesday morning, Devon sat at his desk, finishing the last paperwork that had been piling up since the week before. It'd been three whole days since he'd seen Kristen, and his frustration was starting to get to him.
They'd spent a few hours at the beach on Sunday afternoon after he made his early morning confession. While wading in the calm waters, they talked some more. He answered her questions about his adventures traveling with his folks to foreign places and his SEAL training.
