coming too I was Groggy amd sore I swear I had drowned was this heaven .

no I can't be surely I wouldn't hurt this much if I was dead . I couldn't open my eyes everything hurt I tried to move my body but nothing so I just lay there listening and praying I hadn't been captured by Gruthbert.

Minutes turned into hours and yet still I couldn't move . suddenly I heard voices .

"you can't go in there" said a man's voice .

"why the hell not I am the Luna of this Hord and I will go into that room Garret "

GARRETS P.O.V

I had been out on a mission for my Hord for 3 weeks and missed my Home so much I was Glad to be heading back but first I thought id stop by my childhood shack in the forest .

I was then I saw them the mangy Rouge wolves all round my shack searching for someone . I was surprised atthe condition of my shack It had looked loved and lived in yet it had been over 10 years since I was last there . I scanned the area for what the rouges were looking for and that's when I saw her struggling in the river not far away

Iote My Dragon suddenly swooped down to save her

"what are you doing I Grumbled to him " not that I could stop him joys of being a shifter sharing your body with a supernatural creature.

"Mine " he grumbled back I had no idea what he was on about

we neared her in less than a millisecond and scooped her out of the water it was clear she was unconscious I just hope not dead .

it was at the moment I caught a whiff of her scent cinnamon and apples it reminded me of Christmas.

"Mate Mate Mate " Iote linked me .

oh my I never thought id find my mate I was only young still technically a dragonling dragons don't normally find there mates till they are a century old but here I barely even 30 and have found mine . but then nothing was normal about me I had graduated both dragon academy and warriors academy before I was 20 and now I was head warrior and tracker and most trusted advice for the alpha and Luna of my hord .

Iote pick up speed as he flew so we could make it to our mountain Home it was barely a ten minute flight away .

making it back I took my mate straight to the hospital wing of the main House .

slamming open the doors I screamed for the healers

within minutes she was on a bed with hassle and bustle of major doctors milling around her I went to wait out side the room .

Ten minutes had passed and Dr Thomas came out to me

"where did you find her? " he questioned

"she was in the western river. I thought id go see my hideout" I added

"well thank God you found her when you did another 5 minutes and she'd be gone . But why Bring her here ? you know the rules the Humans can't know about us we will have to wipe her mind once she's recovered "

"No I ordered "

Dr Thomas looked at me eyebrows raised but didn't question it he knew to well not to question me so turned and walked away .
