Gabe's eyes never left hers. "Nothing," he said, his voice low and husky. "I was just wondering what you thought of the building."
Amby's eyes widened in surprise. "It is, oh, it is amazing," she said, her voice filled with wonder. "I have never seen anything like it."
Gabe smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I am glad you like it," he said, his voice filled with pride. "I designed it myself."
Amby's eyes widened in surprise. "You did?" she asked, her voice filled with incredulity.
Gabe nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "Yes," he said, his voice low and husky. "I wanted to create a space that was both beautiful and functional."
As the elevator doors opened, Gabe stepped out, his hand reaching out to guide Amby. "Welcome to my office," he said, his voice filled with pride.
