Elijah was astonished by the monkey music and as soon as they entered the place, Reirei take lead.

“ They are kind of mischievous Elijah, so if you have valuable things in your pocket keep it safe.” Reirei said and before he could even follow what she just said, one of the monkey, a big fat monkey with a hat on his head that almost looks like human jumped from behind and took his necklace that he is wearing and it jumped right away.

“ Hey! That’s mine.” Elijah shouted.

Reirei rolled her eyes and sighed, she run and chase the monkey who just curled up his tail into the branches and climbed up and down while running away.

“ stop right there you monkey!” Reirei shouted furiously and darted the monkey a sleeping potion.

When she hit the bulls eye, she finally got the necklace back, but when she returned to give it back to Elijah, he was missing.

“ Elijah!!” She shouted

“ dang it! Why do I have to baby sit a guy like him!” She rolled her eyes and sighed ,now she had to find him.

Searching all over the monkey clan is a big effort, and she wasted so much time by looking for him when she could just leave him behind.

The whole place in the monkey clan are full of trees and big rocks, however there’s a place that made a different, the monkey chief's house.

Reirei went there and found out that the guy she’s been looking for were tied up in big ropes while lying down the floor in front of the chief.

“ Hey! Mongolia” Reirei yelled, getting the monkey chief’s attention and so are the others.

“ he is my companion can you let him go?” Reirei asked nicely, the chief scoffed.

“ No, he is mine.” The chief said grumpily.

“ Oh come on, hadn’t you guys learn? I don’t like to destroy this place. You know what I’m capable of.” Reirei said and she released dark aura all over.

The monkey chief got mad and they all made that monkey sound making Reirei grunted, she doesn’t like loud sounds, the reason why she lost her chill. She took off the sword from it’s compartment and lashed out.

She cut the center table of the monkey king making it jumped with his face got the reaction of surrender.

“ We just renovated this place and you ruined it again! How dare you messed with us.” The monkey chief said and took his sword too, he jumped over and swing his sword towards her making Reirei dodged it as fast as she could, but she was wounded in the arm. Though it was just a slight wound, Reirei still felt the cut.

“ I don’t , I didn’t mean to do this. Let my companion go. He was being assigned to me. I have to bring him back.” Reirei Said nicely.

“ He is useless you know. You can’t have him.” Reirei said to Mongolia.

The monkey chief looked at Elijah and sighed. Mongolia stepped closer and cut the rope letting Elijah go.

Elijah stood up and fixed himself while he stepped closer to Reirei’s side. After Reirei returned the necklace, the two left.

“ Now you know, in this world, you have to be both wise and brave, you have to learn how to fight for yourself,” Reirei said

“ Reirei.”

“ What?” she asked coldly.

“ hmm, thank you very much.” Elijah said sincerely.

They are heading back home. As soon as they arrived, Dodo served them a nice relaxing juice made of snail.

“ what is this?” Elijah asked when he saw a snail eyes on the glass, he felt like he is going to throw up.

“ this? It’s an anti-aging juice. It will help you lessen your wrinkles.” Reirei said and just shrugged her shoulder, she sat down on the couch and carelessly drink her juice making Elijah’s stomach upset. He throws up.

He is throwing up in the sink at the kitchen and Dodo sighed.

“ He is so weak.” Dodo uttered

“ your right. And without us, he was probably dead by now.” Reirei sighed and lay down on the couch . she felt sleepy.

Elijah can’t believe that he would be suffering like this. He decided to look for food in a fridge, he took the sandwich out and ate it ,but he cursed when he saw that it has some monster spread on it. He throws up again.

“ gosh, dodo, is there something nice to eat here, something without those bizarre stuff.” Elijah whined and dodo sighed.

The chimera made him a sandwich with only tomato’s and lettuce and beef inside, making Elijah felt better.

“ Thank you.” He said sincerely.

“ You have to learn eating food like those.. it will boost your warrior side.” Dodo said.

“ I’m not a warrior.” He corrected him.

“ But your going to be. You just can’t chill here like you’re the boss, because--- Vilmor is a harsh place to live in.” Dodo said and she left.

Elijah calmed himself and suck air , he is trapped in a world he didn’t know if really exist. He thought that maybe he is just dreaming and sooner or later, he will wake up.

On the next day, Reirei left the house to kill some monster so that her sword and armor will be upgraded and her level will also goes up.

She is chasing some wild infected leopard men, and slain them all and returned home with their shards fragments. But before she could even made her step back home, a group of black men who look almost like a ninjas appear in front of her with their Sharp big and upgraded swords aiming at her. She is a bit nervous but she is not going to back out.

She took her sword and smirk at them, in a blink of an eye, she already slain one of them.

“ H-How did you-“

“ That’s one of my ability, stealth.” She smirk.

“Ughhh!” One man was angry and attacked her mindlessly, Reirei rolled her eyes and dodged the attacked.

She smiled at them.

“ if your plan is to kill me, them you guys should know that , your low -level of killing won’t do on me.” She mocked and she could hear their teeth gritted.

“ Probably.” The other man said and they joined forces to attacked her, they circled her and lashed their sword at her and that haves Reirei a difficult time dodging the attacked and defending herself.

One of them burst into Cannon ball and I’d about to smashed her, Reirei throw her sword towards that man, hitting the bulls eye. She got him.

A loud thud was heard after the fall of a dead body and the rest of the group, disappear in the woods.

“ Who would have the guts to send those group of people to slay me?” She thought, but she couldn’t think of any.

She sighed and decided to go home, throw a small chip in the ground and it transformed into a flying car.

Back home, Elijah is having a good time practicing a sword, while dodo spectate.

“ how was everything here while I’m gone? Did Elias came?” She asked as she sauntered towards them.

“ No, he is busy I think. The elders want to see him. And for the bad news, this guy , doesn’t learn anything yet, we were just wasting five hours for nothing.” Dodo rolled her eyes.

“ I’m sorry, I am not a warrior, I am just a guy who wanted to go home, and at the same time , I want to find my best friend Amari.” He said frankly and gave the sword to Dodo.

“ Follow me, let’s talk.” Reirei told him and she went inside the house, And Elijah followed.

They went into the room where no one occupied and the place is way two big for two person.

“ I don’t know who you are or where you from so I can’t help you with anything else except for protecting you and giving you a place to stay while you’re here.” Reirei said and she turned to see Elijah.

“ I’m an ordinary man, I lost my best friend –“

“ I know, I have the thought that you came from the human realm.” She sighed.

“ I thought you didn’t know-“

“ aside from that, I don’t know anything. And for now, you can’t go home because I don’t know if someone happened to go home after going here.” Reirei said honestly.

Elijah looked around and stared at the woman in front of him.

“ What are you?” he asked.

Reirei frown.

“ what are you guys called?” he asked.

“ isn’t it too late for your curiosity?”

“ I want to know.”

“ We are Valerian, we are bound to kill or be killed. We are bound to protect the innocents.” She said.

“ how about those-“

“ and the rest are the branches of Valir, and they have their own belief and skills.”

“ then can you help me look for my best friend?” he asked.

Reirei could say no if she wanted to, but looking at his sad looking eyes, she can’t say No.

“ fine then, but in one condition.”

“ a condition?”

“ yes, and that is , while you’re here, don’t get killed.” She said.

And Elijah’s mouth opened in disbelief.

“ O-Okay.”
