General Ava left the cave and went back to the palace. He told the king of his daughter's decision. The king was heartbroken and felt sad about it. He realized his fault of keeping her daighter inside the castle's wall.
King Albert: I thought I had given her everything. But instead, she choses to live in a cave like a beast to be free.
General Ava felt sorry for king. He told everyone in the palace that he wanted to be alone.
The king got sick due to loneliness. He lost Queen Sophia and his daughter doesn't want to come back. No one from the entire kingdom could heal him.
Wind blows again and it whispers to Princess Tiana's ears. The wind told the princess everything it could see in the kingdom. Hearing the news about her father brought tears to Princess Tiana's eyes.
The dragon saw the princess sad face and thought that she might want to go home.
Princess Tiana: Serena, my father is sick. I will leave you for a while so that I can take care of him. Please stay here and don't burn anything.
Serena looked at the princess with a sad face.
Serena(the fire dragon): Don't worry about me princess, I'm well now. Thanks to those herbs you use to cure me. Now, its your father's turn. He will get well soon just like me.
Princess Tiana smiled.
Serena lowers her back so that the princess can climb up.
Serena(the fire dragon): hurry up Princess Tiana, your father is waiting. No time to waste.
The princess ran into Serena's back and find a spot at the dragon's back.
The two went to the castle together but Princes Tiana did not created a magical clouds. She is now ready to tell her father and the people about the dragon.
It was early in the morning and the sun was just rising.
The dragon flew up and into the kingdom with the princess on its back. People saw the huge beast and followed it. When it arrived in the kingdom, the guards tried to fire arrows but on top of its head, Princess Tiana signaled them to stop.
It stopped flying and went down into the front gate. King Albert ran outside even with a weak body, he struggled to meet the dragon with his daughter.
King Albert: My daughter! You came back!
Princess Tiana: Yes father. I'm here for you.
King Albert was very happy. He hugged his daughter and the two burst into tears.
King Albert: I'm very sorry my daughter. I never should have locked you in these walls. From now on I will let you choose freely on what you want and where you want to go.
After a few minutes, the surroundings turned dark and strong wind blew into the sorroundings. Up in the sky, shows 2 huge dragons flying together.
Serena(the fire dragon): Mother!Father! You came back!
It was Serena's parents. They have finally came back for their daughter.
Serena's Father: My daughter, we finally found a place for creatures like us.
Serena's Mother: Finally, my child, we can be together again.
Serena's Father and Mother: Thank you, Princess Tiana. We will never forget your kindness.
Princess Tiana: I should be the one to thank you because Serena showed me the beauty of life.
The dragons waved their wings as a farewell to the princess. They flew up in the sky until they disappeared.
Princess Tiana and General Ava got married. Many years later, dragons were never seen again.
In a museum, enclosed with a glass box, lies an old artifact. It was a magical bracelet. The story of the princess and the dragon was forgotten. People who visited the museum thought that it was just a myth. The magical bracelet was covered with rust and people wondered why it had become a priceless artifact.
