Chapter 4

SETH's POV

I haven't seen Nicole much these past few days. Brie said she went with her other friends to hang out. If I had a chance to meet her again, I will ask her to be my girlfriend. I am excited and nervous at the same time on how she will react.

.

- At the arena -

Were in our locker room warming up for our match tonight. We headed backstage and as we were walking the hallway, we saw Nikki coming out of a room at a distance. She didn't notice us as she ran towards the divas' locker room. We passed along that room and we saw the sign on the door saying that its John Cena's locker room.

"Did Nikki went out this door?" Dean pointed at John Cena's door.

"Maybe.." Roman said but soon agreed. Then he looked at me shaking his head.

I did not even said a thing to them. We have a match and I had to focus on that. But my mind kept replaying what I saw earlier. What is she doing in Cena's room? I was so bothered about that. My heart felt that it broke into pieces. What if she's now Cena's girlfriend? I can't help but overthink it. Anyway, our match is next and our opponents are waiting for us down the ring.

*time skip*

Roman and Dean are down on the mat outside the ring and I have no one to tag. When I turned, I was hardly hit and fell my face on the mat, then I was pinned. 

We lost the match. 

As we went inside our locker, there's Brie sitting on the couch watching the next match. She got up and ran towards the fridge and hand us some ice packs.

"Here you go...Nice match match out there."

"No its not nice. We lost!" Dean said rolling his eyes to me.

 "Sorry guys..." I looked down. Now I know I'm affected to what I saw earlier.

"Hey man! I'm just kidding bro!" He laughed patting my back.

"Hey Brie! Did you know something about John and Nicole?" He asked as he sat down.

"Me and Nicole???" Dean said raising his eyebrows and pointing to himself. He misunderstood his real name Jon and John Cena's.

"No, not you! John as in John Cena. You dork!" Brie laughed at them while I was in a serious mood.

"Oh! right...sorry.." Dean rolled his eyes. I looked at Brie and prepare to listen what she will say.

"All I know is that John likes Nikki and they often see each other these past few days..." She said.

I frowned just hearing what Brie said and it breaks my heart. I chose to be with her, but I guess its too late.

I went to the bathroom to have some warm shower. I feel so down right now. It hurts.

As I got out the shower with just a towel on, I saw Roman sitting on a single couch then Dean with Brie on the other and there was Nikki sitting next to Brie. My heart beats so fast just when I saw her.

NIKKI's POV

I went to find Brie and obviously I knew where she is. I go to The Shield's locker room. I opened the door and didn't even bother to knock.

"Hi guys!" I smiled and waved at them.

"Hey!" They greeted.

"Hey Nicole! Long time no see?" Dean said.

"It's been a week that I haven't seen you guys!" I said as I sat down on the couch next to Brie.

"Someone's been missing you..." Roman smirked.

"Yeah. I missed you so much Nicole." Dean kidded as Brie laughed with him.

"So...how are you and John?" My sister asked. How nosy she is by the way? 100%

Dean pointed himself, "Me???" He asked as Roman threw him with a pillow. We all laughed at Dean who just pouted. This dork.

"John Cena? Oh you know..we just hang out...enjoy each others companies.." I smiled at them.

"Are you guys official?" She asked.

" No were not.. I mean..not yet.." I giggled as we heard the bathroom door open and saw Seth coming out with only his towel on. 

My eyes traveled on his chest down to his abs with water dripping from his wet two-toned hair. I felt my heart was beating so fast and I felt nervous. I don't know why...I guess I just badly missed him.

"I'm hungry. Come on Dean. Let's go to the catering." Roman said as he got up. Dean nodded and he also grabbed Brie to go with them. 

"Uh Nicole. Can you stay with Seth? I guess he needs company." Dean said smirking as they walk towards the door. They gave us one last look after they got out the room.

ROMAN's POV

I knew Seth really likes Nicole, so I'm helping him to get closer to her. I got Dean and Brie with me at the catering to get food. We sat down and we came up about a plan.

"So Brie. You know Seth really likes Nikki. He and Leighla broke up and I know he wanted to be with her. I feel Seth, he is a super close friend and a brother. I know he's upset now that we saw Nikki got out from Cena's locker room earlier." I explained to her as she was attentively listening.

"Oh my God. I didn't know Seth and Leighla were over....and that Seth likes Nikki.. You know, my sister really likes Seth for a long time even before she was with Nick.. And she's dating John Cena now, but they are not official yet... What should we do then?" She asked.

"We should get rid of Cena before its too late...or we should get a diva to date Cena so Nikki herself will get rid of him.." Dean suggested.

SETH's POV

I put on my normal clothes, some jeans and simple shirt as Nikki is watching on screen the main event of the night, John Cena vs Randy Orton. Oh, the great John Cena! I sighed and I sat down beside her.

"Hey Nikks. How are you?" I said looking at the screen.

"I missed you too Sethy." She turned her head looking at me and I looked at her.

"W-what?" I was shocked because I didn't even say it straight to her.

"Hey!. We haven't seen each other this past week... Don't you miss me?" She smiled sweetly.

I missed her smile, her pretty face and her twinkling eyes. I felt the love I have for her.

"Of course I do...a lot!" I chuckled. She smiled and went back watching the match. "Are you guys dating?" I asked her waiting for her to answer.

"exclusively..." she replied. "So..how are you and Leighla?" she asked me back.

"Uhhh... were not together anymore."

"What? Why?"

"I liked someone else." I said looking at her.

"Hey! I said it before!" she giggled as she soflty hit my arm.

"it is true.." I said as her phone beeped and we didn't notice that the show is over. She read a text from her phone.

"Hey. I gotta go." as she quickly got up and walk towards the door. "See you around Sethy!" she waved walking away.

My smile faded as she got out the room. I think it was Cena who texted her. I'm so pissed. I didn't even get a chance to say everything I feel for her. I breathe deeply as I got up. I packed my things then Roman and Dean were back and also packed their stuff.

We headed to our bus as Brie come over with us. I turned around to look for Nikki but I didn't see her.

"Where's your sister Brie?" Roman asked her as we got in the bus.

"I don't know.. I thought she's with Seth." she said looking up at me.

"She left before Dean and Roman were back. She got a text message and quickly leave the room." I explained.

"Babe call her and tell her she can travel with us." Dean said as Brie nodded and call her sister.

*skip phone call*

"So???" he asked.

"She's travelling with John on his bus." She said not happy hearing about it.

"Did they already took off?" Roman asked.

"Not yet, she's waiting for John outside the bus." she said then Dean suddenly went out our bus.

"Where you goin? Its Cena, not you!" Roman yelled but Dean didn't mind to listen. We don't know what he's got into him.

DEAN's POV

As much as I wanted to help Seth with Nicole, I have to do something. I went out the bus and try to find Cena's bus. I saw Nicole outside waiting for John Cena. I ran towards her.

"Hey Nicole! Brie needs you now. Come with me." I said grabbing her arms.

"But she just called. Did something happened to her? You must have a good reason." She asked as she gave me a glare.

"No. Nothing. Its just that...you should travel with us..with your sister.." I said trying to convince her. She didn't say anything. She just glared at me. She's a pro. "Okay.. The truth is that Seth likes you. He and Leigh were not together anymore..and it's because of you."

"Because of me? I didn't do anything to them. Why does it seemed like it was my fault??!"

"No. I mean...he chose you over her, because he loves you so much. He's upset that he saw you earlier coming out of Cena's locker room. And that, we lost our match." I explained.

"So it was also my fault that you lost your match??!"

"No no no..ugghh! Just come with me and they will tell you everything..because you can't understand me." I rolled my eyes and finally she agreed to come with me on our bus.

"I hate you for this. You're breaking up my love life!" She said as we walk our way to our bus.

"No I'm not! I'm making it!" I laughed then she also chuckled. I grabbed Nicole's stuff as we got inside the bus.

SETH's POV

While waiting for Dean to come back, I lay down on the bunk bed while Brie occupies the room and Roman sat on the couch. I was so tired and my body hurts from the match earlier. I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

NIKKI's POV

I agreed to come with Dean on their bus. He said something about Seth liking me and I want to make it clear. Dean grabbed my bag and I went up the bus. As I entered the bus, there was Roman sitting on the couch.

"Hey Nicole. Whats up?" He said as I sat down next to him.

"I want to ask you something..." I sighed as Brie got out the room. It was the only room inside the bus.

"Hey.. I thought you were with John." She said as Dean come in the bus door.

"Yep! She was with me."

We laughed at him. He always insist John is Jon. He just had a good sense of humor. He had always been like that. And my sister liked that kind of a person. He makes her happy and I'm also happy for them.

"I'm traveling with you guys. I've changed my mind." I said.

"Jon, you're good!" Roman said smirking.

"Yep! That's my name!" he said as he got water from the fridge.

"I came with Dean because he said that Seth likes me. I didn't understand what he's trying to say so I want to clear this up to you guys." I explained. They all looked at each other and Brie sighed saying.

"Yeah..its true Seth likes you.."

"a lot! He likes you a lot. He said that when you two meet again, he will ask you to be his girlfriend." Roman continued. "and actually he didn't broke up with Leighla. She dumped Seth."

"Is that so?" I said as things..lots of things are running through my mind. The love I have for Seth is rising up. I just want to hug him, kiss him and feel his touch. "Where is he?" I asked turning my head to look for him.

"He's on that bunk. He's fast asleep I guess." He said pointing at the bunk bed covered with curtain.
