Prince was in a foul mood after returning to the hotel room. When he opened the door, he saw Vivian lying naked and seductively on the bed. He glanced at her from head to toe. This was his first time taking a good look at this woman. Her curvaceous body, chocolate skin, long curly dark hair and seductive body was all he wanted in his woman but her character as wife and expected mother for his kids was something he was not so sure of since he barely knew anything about her. This was a transactional marriage and he was merely going with the flow.

He walked to the bed and kissed her which she returned the kisses but Prince stopped halfway, took a place beside her and dozed off. Vivian could not believe her body charm was useless on her husband. she felt regretful and joined him in sleeping. it was already morning when Vivian woke up. she was mentally prepared to give her husband answers to any questions he would ask and also apologize but he was not around. she searched the washroom and other places to no avail. She tried calling him but she was sent straight to mail. she started panicking fearing the worst might be happening. Most of her friends parents got divorced two years into their marriage and life after that especially for her friends were not easy.

Most had emotional and mental breakdown as well as being neglected.

When she thought about her friends predicaments, divorce was her last resort but she knew she was at fault. Now she had to find her husband and sort out any issues with him. As she opened the door to go out look for her husband, the security guards standing at the door blocked her exit as per instructions from her husband. She was asked to pack her things and follow them.

Back at Max's apartment, Angie was almost due to deliver and Max had made all preparations to ensure her smooth delivery. Late in the afternoon as Max was busy attending to some documents in the office, he was called to the hospital because Angie had delivered.

He stopped what he was doing and rushed to the hospital where she was admitted. He got her flowers and he was more than excited to see both mother and child. As he opened the door to the VIP room with the bouquet, he heard the cries of the baby in the crib.

After placing the bouquet by her bed, Max walked to the crib and took the crying baby. He saw it was a boy, a mini man whom he could play and boil with. When the baby was picked, he stopped crying and opened his eyes to see this stranger. His eyes were big and white. with a teary face, he smiled and Max was captivated by this new angel.

He gave him to his mum, and seeing Angie being shy around him, he left the room so Angie could feed him. He received an urgent call from the house. Josephine was seriously sick and was being attended to by the private doctor. He hanged the call and went back into the mother and baby's room as they were his topmost priority.

As he was walking inside, he bumped into his boss along the corridor. He looked downcast and not his usual playboy self. They were heading the same direction and they talked about work along the way. Max stopped by Angie's door and turned to say goodbye to his boss but realized they were going into the same room. The situation became awkward but Max gave way for his boss to enter first and he followed suite.

Angie was cuddling her baby when she saw the door to her room opening. she did not turn to see who was coming since she knew it was Max. She said come and see your baby Max, he is looking all ........she didn't complete the sentence when she heard someone clearing the throat. The familiar cologne that got her into this mess is right by her bed. She turned and her eyes met those of Majeed's with Max standing by the door.

Majeed was the last person she expected to see. There was a sudden change in Angie's mood and she showed Majeed the door to get out of her life and ward for good. Majeed hesitated but left the ward per Angie's demand. He knew both mother and child needed some space and peace of mind for a speedy recovery. As he got to the door, he held Max's shoulder and asked him to take good care of her.

After Majeed had left, Max went to sit by Angie on the bed and asked why she turned his boss away and how she knew him. This was a closed chapter in Angie's life so she thought. She became quite but for how long could she keep it from Max. As she was in deep thoughts, the baby started crying and she picked him up. Max did not bring up the topic again and waited for her to tell him when she was ready. It was already getting late, Max stood up, took Angie's hand, gave it a kiss and kissed the little angel goodbye after the new nanny he got for both mother and child arrived.

Max got home very late but he decided to check up on Josephine before heading to his room. He knocked on the door and the door was opened after waiting for five minutes. He understood the delay as Josephine was not feeling well. He walked in and the door closed immediately he entered. Josephine was wearing a see through night wear which was outlining her body perfectly. Max had never had such an awkward encounter before and he stood there staring intently into her eyes which were as clear as a sky.
