As Lea reached the 3 men Letty came running through the back door looking around shocked, then ran to Johnny.

'What is going on? Half the pack are at the windows' Letty was watching the pack house.

'This low life is worse than we all thought, because of him we have enemies that were once peaceful' Johnny's eyes never left his fathers.

'Don't talk rubbish, Johnny its all fake'

A rancid smell hit Leas wolf nose, causing her to screw up her face. What was that? She thought to herself.

'Can someone please bring me a shirt?' She mind linked the Omegas that were cowering in the corner and shifted back when one ran towards her with one of the oversized shirts they kept at the doors.

As she put it on she heard a growl and spun glaring at her mate,

' sorry' he mumbled putting his head down but Lea spotted the desire in his eyes.

'I think this might be something to handle in a sound proofed office, Johnny.' she said quickly looking between her son and ex mate.

'Mum, you should leave. You don't need to hear this, but I think everyone needs to hear exactly why New moon attacked us 3 years ago' Johnny's only gave her passing glance before glaring at his father again.

'I have no idea why that happened,' Damien looked insulted. But that smell hit Lea again and she covered her nose.

A laugh came from her mate as he watched her, then his face was serious again.

Thinking back Lea remembered they had been in negotiations for over a year with New moon and 3 years ago they went to sign the treaty. They had enjoyed a lovely evening but the next morning Damien had rushed them away with no treaty and 4 months later New moon pack had attacked them without warning, both sides lost so many warriors that day and they didn't have an explanation.

Looking at her son she couldn't believe that they finally had an explanation,

'So why is that then?' she said steadily.

'Your ex Alpha attempted to assassinate a pup, to cover his own tracks' Buster spoke up.

'Shut up you piece of s**t' Damien roared at him stepping closer to the giant. Did he actually think he stood a chance against Buster without his alpha power?

'Your the piece of s**t' Came Johnny's voice. 'Mum, if you insist on hearing this please sit down.' Lea was really confused and in shock so she pulled over a chair and sat looking at everyone.

'It turns out when you went to Newmoon pack father found his fated mate,' Johnny glared at his father. 'she was the omega sister of the Gammas mate. He spent the night with her, rejected her and left the next morning.'

Lea now looked at her ex mate 'So that's why we rushed out of there so fast? You rejected her'

'We had a contract Lea and what use is an Omega mate? The moon goddess got it wrong' Damien spoke through gritted teeth.

'A month later the Omega told father she was going to have his pup,' Johnny continued 'But when the pup was born 3 months later, 1 of our warriors broke into their clinic to kill the pup but was stopped and interrogated'

Lea knew Damien wasnt the best but to attempt to take an innocent child's life. This was crazy, how had this happened without her noticing.

'I would never Lea,' Damien was looking at her now, the smell was back and she recoiled.

'That smell is our Beta blood gift Lea,' Her mate got her attention 'We can smell lies, yours is showing now that you are no longer Luna'

Wow, that's cool she thought before getting back to the problem at hand.

'Damien, I think if the proof is there and that stench is what Buster is claiming then why are you fighting this?'

Damien didn't answer her and continued glaring at Buster,

'Why reject the poor woman? Attempt to kill your own child?'

Damiens head snapped towards her and she seen the monster in his eyes,

'She is an Omega. Such a low person is of no use to me, any child conceived would be part omega and useless to any Alpha' his teeth were grinding as he spoke and Lea stood and walked away towards the woods.

'You are not the man I knew all that time ago,' she looked from Damien to her son,

'You are Alpha now, J. Do as you wish with your father, I am going home' she shifted and headed to her cottage.

This man was far more toxic than anyone could have anticipated,

'If I am willing to kill a bastard child to keep you by my side, imagine what else I will do Lea' came the mindlink from Damien before Lea could block him, this was not how this was supposed to go. She needed to leave.

Buster

Watching the beautiful grey wolf disappear Busters heart wanted to follow her, seeing the Confusion then sadness that passed over his mates face made him almost regret bringing all this to light but he knew they all had to know before more people were harmed.

'You are going to die beta,' Damien drew his attention back, 'If you think for one second that you have won my mate then you are soarly mistaken'

Buster laughed at Damien the man had nothing at all.

'I Alpha Johnny of Cloaked Moon pack here by banish the ex Alpha Damien from our pack and lands' Johnny's voice was loud and clear but Buster seen the wince from the severed link to a member and Damien stumbled.

'How could you do this to me? I did nothing but protect this pack and you! You are nothing but a weak heir, I wish Rosie was born first. She at least understands what strength and sacrifice it takes' Damiens eyes were laced with so much hatred, you would never believe he was looking at his own son.

'I think you better leave now, Damien' Busters face was unreadable but inside his wolf was jumping with joy.

'You f**ked with the wrong Alpha Beta' Damiens turned to him, 'I will leave now but believe me when I say, I will have your head and take what is mine no matter what'

Damien smirked as he walked around the pack house towards the garages.

'2 warriors follow him and make sure he is off my lands in 20 minutes' Johnny yelled to the gathered crowd. 2 warriors instantly stood and bowed, following the vile man.

Buster now turned to Johnny 'I am sorry to put this all on you Johnny but everyone needed the truth. He was manipulating your mother and I can't watch that.' looking to Letty 'I'm sorry to make issues in your new pack Letz'

'Buster, your candor means the world to us. Hopefully we can make amends with the packs my father has wronged.' Johnny said while wrapping his arm around his Luna, 'Could you perhaps get your contacts to come here to sort out a peace? And maybe bring my sibling here, I should like to meet them'

Buster nodded and headed inside, those 2 are going to make this pack great. He could feel it in his bones, if only he was so sure about his mates decision.
