They walked from the block of Tike's shop to the next block, taking the alleyway that wasn't blocked off. The rising sun shined in Taylor's eye and as they turned the corner, the hot rays burned into the back of his jacket. He fidgeted slightly as to not attract Louis's attention. Sweat was beginning to build up in the center of his back between his skin and his thick shirt. The cold winter air was still sharp on his exposed hands, neck, and face, but where he'd layered his clothing for the night, he felt like he was being cooked in an oven. He fought through the sweat and heat because he had Ryan in his arms. Louis glanced behind him and though he couldn't know what was going through Taylor's thoughts, Taylor felt as if Louis knew what was going on. He wasn't having trouble holding Ryan.
