It must have been one fight too many. The second fight that I was in was with a girl who was a little bit taller. I had been told by a friend of mine the next time that I ever got into a fight to take my shoes off. That's exactly what I did. I had on skater shoes although I didn't skateboard. As the fight went on, I tossed my shoes off and went after her. She had already gotten me from behind, and they picked her up with a lecture: If you're going to fight her, don't do it from behind.

I forgave her. At least, I thought that is what I did. I couldn't deal with the embarrassment of losing the fight. I had grabbed the door from her car, pulled it back as far as I could, and slammed it into her she had already swung at me quite a few times, and I had done the same to her. Most of it was on the ground, although I stayed up for a while. When I slammed the door into her, she then took my head and slammed it onto a curb. The curb was concrete, and it happened so many times that one of the last things I heard my friend say was my name and to, "...stop playing." The guy that I liked at the time who had recently broken up with me picked me up and put me in the Jeep.
