The evening at Pack University was indeed very beautiful, with the calm environment soothing Ryan's mind as the wind gently blew on his face. Ryan Morrison, the head Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack, was accompanied by his trusted officials - Beta Lucas, Delta Harry, and Gamma Vans. They had been best friends since childhood, their bond stronger than anything else.
As they walked through the campus, Beta Lucas reminded Ryan of the important party they had to attend that night, where they would also meet with the Alpha from the Silver Blood Pack to discuss a fighter wolf's contract. Ryan simply nodded in acknowledgment, his eyes glancing at the group of teenage girls who were whispering and staring at him from a distance.
Beta Lucas noticed Ryan's distraction and with a knowing smile, commented on how all girls seemed to have a soft spot for their Alpha. Ryan chuckled and replied, "Until they find their mate." It was true that many girls in the Blue Moon Pack harbored fantasies about Ryan, hoping to catch his attention and win his heart, not to forget those dying to climb the bed with him. And not just from their pack, Alphas from other packs also sought to arrange marriages with their daughters to Ryan.
At 6'2, tall, chiseled jawline and with bright white skin that lit up in the sun, his presence was captivating enough to attract people like flicking moths to a flame. But it was his eyes that truly set him apart. A mesmerizing shade of blue-grey, they seemed to pierce through to the depths of a person's soul, leaving them transfixed in his gaze. His sharp eyebrows added to the intensity of his stare, giving him an air of mystery that had many women falling at his feet.
However, Ryan remained indifferent to all the attention and adoration he received, focusing on his responsibilities as the Alpha and his duty to protect his pack. His loyalty lay with his people, and he knew that his true mate would come to him in due time.
After finishing their business at Pack University, Ryan and his officials decided to stop by the university cafeteria to grab a quick bite to eat. As they were hanging out, many of the students approached Ryan and bowed in respect, acknowledging his status as the Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack.
Gamma Vans, noticed a girl entering the cafeteria and whispered to the others, "Look at that Omega." Everyone turned to look, except for Ryan, who seemed uninterested at first. "I've never seen an Omega as arrogant as her, coming from the Silver Blood Pack," Vans continued.
Curious, Ryan finally looked up to see who the Omega was. His eyes landed on the most beautiful Omega he had ever seen. Maya had dusky skin, brown eyes with curled up lashes, and an aura of quiet confidence that intrigued him. "What's her name?" Ryan asked, a strange pull tightened in his chest.
"Beta Lucas replied, "Maya Smith." Maya flashed a sweet smile at someone, and Ryan followed Maya's gaze to see Sasha, Maya's best friend from the Blue Moon Pack. Maya was known to be a shy and reserved person, only opening up to those she trusted, like Sasha.
Despite being a member of a different pack, Maya was welcomed by the other students, but she kept her distance to avoid being bullied. Sasha was the only one who could fully understand and support Maya, creating a strong bond between them.
Maya went to the table where Shasa was sitting, she pulled a chair and sat politely. Although Maya walked past Ryan, she did not turn her gaze towards Ryan or even the officials. Ryan fixed his eyes on Maya and said, "She looks like a good Omega.
"Arrogant!" Vans said with a smirk.
Before Ryan could ask again, Delta Harry spoke up, "Why aren't you happy with that Maya? Is there a problem?" "No. That day I smiled at her but she didn't even smile back. A handsome man like me smiling at someone like her but she didn't even smile back," Vans said jokingly while scratching his chin and making a lazy face. Everyone at the table laughed, including Ryan.
"So, the problem is no response was coming from that beautiful girl," Beta Lucas remarked, patting Vans on the shoulder.
"Alpha, let's move. We need to go to the pack house and get ready for the party tonight," Beta Lucas said, signaling for Ryan to follow. Ryan nodded, but before he left, he gave a curious look at Maya who was engaged in a conversation with Sasha.
As they arrived at the pack house, Ryan couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something different about Maya. He couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was, but her presence seemed to intrigue him.
